Aldous Harding is the most incredible talent I've come across for at least twelve years. Incredible songwriting, stage presence. She just radiates intensity and passion. An incredible artist and I'm very very excited about what her creative future holds. Even though I'm early on in my experience with her it's clear to me she is outstandingly gifted. Aldous is a very rare musical gift. Thank you Aldous. You've found yourself a very big new fan.

@owsie18002 жыл бұрын
How was it?
@lakervoxx5972 жыл бұрын
@@owsie1800 It was absolutely mind blowing!!! A literal jaw dropping performance. The show kicked off with the upbeat piano intro of Ennui (and as with all of the Warm Chris tunes seem to take on a whole new dimension when played live ) and following the record, straight into Tick Tock and Fever which both sound much bigger than the recordings. Not sure I have witnessed such awe from an audience before... you could actually hear a pin drop during Treasure. There was a LOT of Love in the room, the whole band is ON FORM, Mali at one point was jumping flawlessly from keys - guitar - mellotron whilst singing... you could feel the love and respect that they all have for each other, and it was obvious that they really enjoy what they are doing. Horizon was missing from the set, but there's soooo much awesomeness from the new material that it's understandable that they can't play them all!!! I found after hearing some of the newer songs live they take on a whole new perspective, songs like 'Leathery Whip' and 'Staring at the Henry Moore' are now becoming 'go to' songs... I must admit, there were a few occasions where I was almost brought to tears the magic was so potent. 5 stars, 10 out of 10, Next level stuff. When the band rolls into town, don't hesitate for a second in getting tickets.
@owsie18002 жыл бұрын
@@lakervoxx597 I've actually got a ticket to see her in Christchurch on Saturday night. When I saw she was in Melbourne I checked to see if she was coming across. I'm really looking forward to watching the band and I just can't believe I'm going. So she did most of the new album? Any of her older material?
@lakervoxx5972 жыл бұрын
@@owsie1800 👏👏👏 I’m excited for you!!! Would love to hear how it goes… will this be your first time? She played most of the hits except for ‘Horizon’ and not much of the first album if any?! But primarily it was Warm Chris stuff with ‘The barrel’ fixture picture, zoo eyes’ mixed throughout, old peel goes hard! And Designer was fantastic!!!
@owsie18002 жыл бұрын
@@lakervoxx597 yes first time. I kinda hoping for a good night being like a home town performance. There will be many people in the audience who knew her when she got started. Not sure what to expect tbh. I know it will be good tho

cette chanson est juste magnifique !!! anyone to help me with the lyrics? I can't find them anywhere. Here is what I have: Let me put the water in the bowl for your wounds babe Let me feel you up with the fingers of love, you can't lose babe When you watched me play did it feel (better in? ) when they choose me Say again (this place?) I broke my neck dancing to the edge of the world babe My mouth is wet don't you forget it don't you lose me Here is your princess and here is the horizon I've got to scratch it down, I never could amount that’s it babe And now the sugars run out and I don’t know what to say Say again (this place?) Here is your princess and here is the horizon Every now and then I think of when you'll die babe There is a fall in my head, it (flured?) what you said into the room babe I don't belong in the (desert?), yes I consede take me home babe Say again (this place?) Here is your princess and here is the horizon

I propose : When you watch me play does it feel better when they choose me And There is a fall in my head, it flows what you said into the room (sinon j'avais un floods mais ça sonne trop différent) I don't belong in the desert Et pour le refrain je suis comme toi j'entends "this place"
