The 1975 have returned in 2020 with their 4th album Notes On A Conditional Form. It's their most ambitious project yet, hopping from new wave to soft rock to ambient electro. No matter what anyone says about Matty, I think he's got a real pure soul -- I love his enthusiasm for music and how he doesn't feel the need to apologize for sounds he has affection for, or whatever he's sentimental about. It's lovely hearing him talk.
