I made this...well... I almost made it! Did everything up til the step to wrap the filling. The dough was a wet slimy sticky mess and so difficult to work with. Ms Gao definitely made it seem alot easier than it is. barely manage to make 2 cakes then gave up. I did taste the 2 i made and it was absolutely delish. The radish filling is delish. I did 1.5 tbsp of oyster sauce instead of 1.5 tsp. also added 1 tsp of salt. respurposed the remaining radish fillng (which was alot) into soup. Dumped it into home made unsalted chicken broth, added more scallions and cilantro and became a deliciou soup.

Second attempt was a complete success and wrapping the filling gets easier. Absolutely delicious!
I love it when I see a recipe and suddenly realise that I have almost all of the ingredients already in the house. This looks delicious. I'd serve it during the summer with your smashed cucumber salad and other dishes. Yum! Thank you for this video.

Greetings from Sweden! I love all your recipes, especially gluten based ones. Following your baking instructions is like a cheat code, almost always produces great results! I made these radish pies, and they turned out great! However, I'm wondering about the filling - I followed the ingredient list, and wound up with enough filling for three batches of dough :D Should there really be like 100 g of filling per pie? Maybe I need to stretch the dough even more, but it feels like a bit too much. Or did I misread the radish, should it be half of 750 g? Oh, and out of curiosity: How much protein is there in the all purpose flour you are using?
