Very nice video! I’m very happy with PMDG products as a real Boeing pilot for over 14 years… but I already mentioned in their forum how important this would be nowadays (as we see it more and more in many airports across Europe, South America and Australia, for example). But… we have to wait! And I hope they can realize the importance of this function with videos like this! Thanks!

100% correct, plus the PMDG AP interface when using LNAV and FD. It can be noticed sporadic bank variations between 10 to 30 and even greater degrees during turns, or unnecessary bank spikes before and after passing WPT. These issues are noticeable and reproducible in LNAV mode, on every flight.

Zibo and Toliss can fly RF legs properly in arc instead of coping like PMDG.

The FlyJSim Q4XP definitely has it implemented, as well. As does the CL650 from Hot Start.

They promised nav 2.0 some 12 years or so ago, still nothing, and people asking about it coming with the 777 are banned on the forums.

There are procedures specifically planned as “radius-to-fix” RNAV/RNP approaches. There the obstacle clearance is calculated around that curved path which means you can’t go straight line from point to point. The risk then would be to hit terrain/obstacles.

PMDG is doing nothing pro customers just copy model from FSX to P3D to MSFS. Imagine how long it took to implement one simple c++ tablet.

PMDG should rename themselves to Pretty Mediocre Design Group. All their aircraft have had no feature updates since fsx, and they managed to sell them as "new" products thrice now.

While I like the PMDG 747/777 very much, I also dislike the fact that they only seem to port aircraft over to a new platform and not using it as a chance to make bigger avionic upgrades/improvements
