I ordered a Sihuadon R-108! Some of the newer black versions of the Sihuadon have an amber display which I personally prefer over the light blue display on the gray Radiwow R-108!

Great little radio, very impressive MW reception, was hoping to hear the other bands, not hip on a BL-5C but I like it, sounds good.

I have this one and the Retekese V115. Both are fun little radios. I carry the Retekese all the time I'm traveling. I think the Radiwow R108 does a little better job with reception and sound quality. They augment my other three large SW receivers. You will enjoy either one. The only down side is they don't have SSB.

Mine doesn't seem to have that popping noise with the volume. I love this radio and I carry one of mine in my backpack all the time. If everyone built radios this tough you wouldn't have to worry about dropping one!

Used to like my grandparents’ radio. It didn’t have a ferrite loop in the set. This was an RCA Victor medium wave only radio with 5 or 6 tubes and had the loop antenna spun around the sides of the rear removable panel. Since it was rather large, I would have no problem picking up all kinds of things.

I have the PL606, but it's Totally Useless. At £28, it's expensive for Nothing here in Uganda. Can't pick anything audible on MW & SW. SW is my preference & i bought it off ebay, brand new hopping to have a good Short Wave listening experience after my Son accidentally damage the screen of my Siemens RK759.

The BL-5C battery is a bad solution in my opinion.

Not the best, but not horrible...I enjoy modifying radios that use BL-5Cs.

Two spare batteries and a wall charger will run you only $18.

BL-5C kills the deal for me. Either AA or 18650 are good, but this - no go :(

yeah, the capacity is weak. Though I do like the fact I can modify this radio later with a higher capacity battery, it would just need a little more room on the back..possibly a 3D printed battery bay that can be fitted...ideas, ideas.
