So detailed, so many instruments, riffs.... this makes me want to play a video game. you totally nailed it. This is the kind of music that goes on an AAA game. 8bit or 16bit game. Nostalgic, but it feels unlimited.

i find it interesting how i came to find this piece of art, by smw rom hacking, either worldpeace or sincx, ported fire and ice, i heard it and i was starstruck, i wanted to know more about this radix guy, discovering that fire and ice was composed in the fucking 90s and now here i am, in the longing of another banger like fire and ice, fire and ice 2 and this one

Thought so! Thanks for clarifying.

@@ZedFox I believe he got sick of being only famous for chiptunes, which were cool and good tracks for intros in the early to mid 90's but he grew up as a musician so to speak.

This lil' piece of mind is a master piece done on the infamous Commodore 64 ;). If you'd like to try, makin' master pieces like this, try FastTracker, MilkyTracker or FamiTracker (the latter being "Nintendo Entertainment Sistem" only) All Hail the root!

Don't think it was done on a c64 at all. It's a MOD using samples.

@danielsunshinedahl Get the XM file and convert it using XMPlay. Then you can convert it to any bitrate you want. :D
@sagamusix14 жыл бұрын
@danielsunshinedahl: mp3 and "high quality"? hahahaha, you made my day. you can download the original XM file from modarchive, now THAT's high quality. :) anyway, this is a really great chiptune from the chiptune master himself! :)
