I wanted to say this is a great review! Honestly well done, I just bought myself this bike as well. One thing to note is that during your test, we were able to see a lot of street signs, and it is possible with that to find the location of your home. I would advise you to either go to a public park for the and not start near your home. But thank you for the excellent review!

@nivi3193 жыл бұрын
You have the handlebars rotated downward and that makes them lower. I had the same issue and readjusted the handlebars to be more upright. you may need to adjust the grips and controller a bit after but they will be a little higher
@nivi3193 жыл бұрын
you can clearly see they are bowed downward at 9:59 Loosen those two screws on the neck behind the headlight. Rotate bar forward a bit you will see the grips rise, then retighten two screws.

I’m sure it was helpful to most viewers, but you spent most of your time pedaling, rather than throttle-only. I’d like to get a clearer idea as to what the throttle alone can do, without the need for pedaling.

Good review. I have the Radmission, and it was a good point about the sizing. I am 5'10" and I would say that is about the maximum size to be comfortable. I have my seat set a little lower than I should for full leg extension, but it allows me to not have to lean over the bars as much. The best thing about the bike is it's simplicity with only one gear. The bike is amazing quality for the low price with a very well built frame. It is impressive.
@bicycleguider30723 жыл бұрын
I'm glad to hear you enjoy it as well, Dennis! You're right about the size, there are better choices for taller riders, such as the RadCity or RadRover bikes.

I'm 5'10" and I did the same thing with the seat. It's the only downside about the bike for me and I'm thinking about buying a handlebar extension.

It’s been a year since your comment, so not sure if you figured it out already, but you can easily change the geometry on your bike. For instance, you can use a riser for your stem: www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000FGYKWS/ref=ox_sc_act_image_2?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1 Your LBS should be able to help you out in other ways. :-)

Sorry I just had to say this. I'm tired of so many reviewers saying, "I think, maybe, should be, probably" when describing these ebikes. Each one of those words really mean, " I don't know" Study the paperwork for each bike before you review it. Then you all will Know what you are talking about when you are speaking. Thank you...

I'm confused. I am 5'9" with a 32" inseam - 196 lbs - and if you view the Rad website they recommend a step through frame for someone my size. I would prefer the standard frame that you reviewed. Your thoughts?
@bicycleguider30723 жыл бұрын
The suggested inseam length for the High Step version is 31" to 35", so I think it would fit you well. In my opinion, you're in-between sizes, so you could go with either of the two.

You can buy a stem extender really cheaply on Amazon. You're going to have to go to a sized e-bike to get the fit right for you as tall as you are. You obviously don't get a single speed bike. Great for around town and flat areas, not so good for hills. You pretty have to jump up to ~$1,500 range for gears.
@bicycleguider30723 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the suggestion. RadMission is built for flat areas, but it can also climb some moderate, rolling hills. Obviously, don't try to Everest on it. :)

If you're going to talk about how high you have to raise the saddle, and how high or low the handlebars are for you, or what heights of riders can ride the readmission, you must.mention the bike size. This bike comes in 3 frame sizes. Each size is designed for riders of different height ranges.
@bicycleguider30723 жыл бұрын
It doesn't come in three frame size. It only have one size (High-Step and Mid-Step has same geometry)
