Awesome info. Really appreciated. Question. I have a 79 rx7 12a. Previos owner (Tried) installing 2 msd boxes. The car wouldn’t start with it, so my brother in law removed the boxes. Now I have the car and have no idea where the any of the original wires connect to To start it. Any idea where I can look for info? Thank for your time.

I haven't done anything with a microsquirt. used a few old haltech setups on some first gen turbo swaps

I am a civil engineer, I don't sleep much and I work in the garage. I wish I had more time for my projects. But its a balancing act of everything you mentioned. Money, time, effort. Luckily I bought a bunch of rx7s and parts when they were cheap maybe 5 or 6 years ago.

@@RADPotential I know what you mean, I have had rx7’s since I was in high school and I’m 36 still have all of them. 80, 88 convertible, 85 gsl-se, 81 302 swapped as well. People say I have a problem. Thanks for the reply I appreciate it.

I know this is off topic.... I’ve searched the forums and it’s just confusing... I have e46 323i with a blown m52tub25 and I want to swap in a m54b30... the m54 is complete with engine harness, dme, maf, injector,etc... what else would I need to make it a straight forward swap? Thanks

I mentioned it to justin, He mentioned something about a throttle pedal harness and the drive by wire system would need to be swapped as well! Hope this helps

Thanks, this will come in super handy after this winter when I start ripping apart my 4 12A engines. I was using this site wright-here.net/cars/cars.html for Rotary manuals but the one you shared is much more organized. Love your channel, keep up the great work!! Also you have any good places you can recommend for 1st gen interior/exterior items?

Used parts you will have to get lucky with some of the part out places. Rhinehart Rotary has been solid for me in the past.

Rebuilding an '83. Has rust on drivers side wheel well where suspension arm ties in. Wondering if youve had to deal with this. Any suggestions would be a plus.

@@RADPotential nice. So your video where you are explaining the watts link on the badass rotisserie you built shows where the horizontal link by wheel well has the rust. So im gonna have to cut out a piece to fit and weld. Its like a plate that isnt structural but keeps water from getting into car. Its only on the drivers side not the passenger. I dont have Facebook or Id send a pic. Or I can Email.

I have an 84 Gslse stock that's having trouble staying started. Its turn over run fpr a second and then die suddenly. Any idea what may be the cause? Distributor, or transistors?

fuel pressure? is the pump staying on? make sure the injectors are firing.

Check your fuel system like rad said, also check filters and tank for rust, also fuel pressure may have enough for the first run but drops off
