Man, I need to go to the show, always not in town when it happens. Fan of all cars, but the 80s Toyotas resonate with me a lot, and I was in high school when those 90s Hondas were very hot.

I remember going to my first car shows in the '80s, when the rules were that all cars had to be 1973 model years or older. Some shows even had rules against VW Beetles, certain low-riders, and mini-trucks, because they were thought to attract gang member types. I wondered if I'd ever see shows that had '80s cars. Indeed, some shows are pre-1990 now. Rules against VWs and old mini- trucks have been relaxed. Only one show I went to over the years had a fight occur. It's not the type of cars, it's the drivers!

In the 80s I loved Daytonas and Jaguars. I had a black Mitsubishi Starion turbo at one time. I still love Ferraris, Lambos and Porches. I'm very surprised you didn't mention "Cant Buy Me Love" when you showed the white VW Cabriolet! It looks like you a had a good time. Thanks for sharing!

Great video, we love your content. That CHiPs clip was awesome. I grew up in station wagons. That van was sweet. Did you see any Chevy S10 trucks or blazers? I drove an S10 truck all through high school and college. I also had a Yamaha Maxim 750. As you get older…….same here, but we are not older, we are wiser now. 😊

Thank you for uploading this. Currently where I am, its 31 and trying to snow, so all my old cars are tucked away for winter. Although 2 months ago, i did on a whim enter my 89 cavalier Z24 convertible in a small local show. I won a best of 80s trophy. Car is black with silver ground effects, 2 tone gray interior, black 16x 7 American racing wheels with a polished lip. Even threw on the period correct GTS smoked headlight and taillight covers. I was surprised to win anything considering there were a couple mustangs, monte ss, camaro and firebirds in that class lol.
