Never ceases to amaze me.This is one powerful and quick jet fighter.In a display it is only allowed to fly about a third of the speed it can reach,otherwise the windows of every house for a few miles could be blown in!!. I have seen this many times and i just love noise from the engines.What i would give for a flight in one.(Even though i would probably be sick as a dog!).

Nicely filmed. Too many people feel the need to zoom right in on displays so you end up with shaky footage and no context as to where the plane is in relation to anything, this is cool.

3 things you wanna see in life, a spitfire doing a low pass at 250mph with that merlin engine, a harrier doing a low pass with that pegasus engine at 450mph and a typhoon doing a low pass with that EJ200 at 650mph

I live right next to a cricket club that organised a 1940s day in august and they had a hurricane with merlin engine do a low fly past right over my house, can confirm was pretty cool, Also a few months ago got to see a typhoon at the beach do a fly past just like the one in this video, The tide was pretty far out so I got as close as I can, made my ears hurt for a week after, amazing experience but probably not the smartest idea I've ever had

Just meant to add that yes,it is filmed nicely.So many times you watch display footage and it can be blurry where people select auto focus which is not the right thing to do. The sound comes over well to,i watch these clips with headphones on,fantastic. But Jesus,i miss seeing Concorde flying over London on approach to Heathrow in the evening and it was always on time!!.

No mate this is Flt Lt Johnny dowen he did all the 2015 displays.i met him in Bournemouth 2015 even if it was a bit marred by the hunter crash at shoreham Jamie Norris was the 2013 display pilot

400 knotts, thats 465mph ...thats 6 times faster than motorway car speed....if you've ever been 155 in a race car round a race track, it would be super thrilling and scary, this is 3 x as fast...and this is it cruising easy....it could do a 650mph pass at that altitude no problem

62000 ft in 60 seconds dont think the new f 35 could match that. but we bought them for vertical take offs because our new air craft carriers dont have sling shots on them. they just an up dated version of the old harrier jump jets. dog fight the euro typhoon wins.

The Euro fighter is a air superiority fighter, the F35 is a multirole fighter-bomber. Completely different roles, the F35 is replacing the Tornado, not the Typhoon. The F35 is not a dogfighter.

The Brit The Typhoon is Multi-Mission. It says on the RAF website. Obviously it’s not similar to the f35 tho.

@@maxbooth8738 Obviously they have slowly been upgraded as times changed, and even the 1st gen that the RAF still have around 50 of, which were purely air to air, have been upgraded by the armed forces to have air to ground attack capability. But in the end an f35 will be better than a Typhoon for this role. You could send a Typhoon if you needed to, but if you had the choice you wouldn't.
