@@RandomZShorts15 In each of big 3's career there were numerous phases of twilight & dawn for various factors, each of them missing multiple slams due to multiple reasons opening chances for the other 2. But that in no way, undermine the atttributes of any of them to be what they are today. Try to respect for what they have achieved through out their careers irrespective of favourable or unfavorable circumstances.

I am biased. Followed nadal all his career and always loved his abnegation and dedication to the game. But there are other aspects to this guy that I’m appreciating more and more. His empathy and the fact that he can put things in perspective (his pain vs other’s pain). A lot of respect for the human and the player !

As a Melburnian (and I think most Aussies would agree) we are so privileged to watch a legend on our turf, he may not be born here but he’s playing to a home crowd. He’s never been more loved, he’s shown us so much respect and love these last few weeks and we are truly thankful. I’m 100% on board the Rafa express in the upcoming final. Vamos Rafa! Get that 21! 🇦🇺🇪🇸🏆 Edit: He did it! The madman! 🥳🙌

So nice to hear how much he is loved there! I hope they will all get behind him on Sunday ,he deserves 1 more after the loss of 4 finals! If he doesn't win at 35 he derves Everything hes achieved these last 2 weeks which is more than I thought it would be and I know what he thought it would be to even think that he might have to say goodbye a few months ago is so heartbreaking once we lose this champ and Roger to have the greates that ever play the game 2 of the most loved by the fans because they're so humble respected and admired it'll just never be the same for me I love tennis I'm crazy about it whether I watch it or not I don't know it will never be the same when hes gone though hes been my man for years almost 18 anyway I just so hope so hope and I'll pray so hard like many of us will but he can take the trophy on SundayThis type of human being is who deserves awardsBut if he doesn't get it he'll be OK he'll be happy with what he did just like hes happy with what his whole career hes achieved more than he ever thought and it aint ever thought love you rafa and Vamos!!

@@divitmathur4400 A lot of Aussies think he was acting like an entitled brat throughout the entire fiasco. Even one of our news teams were caught on camera saying how awfully he was behaving. There’s a lot of people who lie on their declaration forms when arriving here that immediately get turned away and yet he did the same and was fine, which we thought was unfair because it seemed like there was a different set of rules for celebrities. As if we should be the one’s grateful to watch him smack a ball at our expenses. A lot of us have gone out of our way and sacrificed a lot of our freedoms to protect ourselves from the virus and have taken it seriously but just cause he’s famous he seemed to be above the law and do whatever he wanted. Not to mention he didn’t have to wait long for his court hearings when usually court hearings take months sometimes years to go to trial. Rafa on the other hand understood he was a guest in our country, knows that a lot of us haven’t gotten to see our loved ones who are still struggling to get to Aus and has been very empathetic and humble throughout the tournament.

Listening to Rafa comparing his injury struggles with the rest of the world, this is clear - Rafa has a great perspective on important things in life outside of tennis, and understands he is not a god just because he is great at tennis. At the same time, because he chose the sport of tennis, he will dedicate his mind body and soul to become excellent in this sport. Whether you like Rafa's game or not, you cannot deny his competitive spirit is something every athlete can aspire to. I am a big Fed fan but I wear more Rafa stuff because he inspires me more (and also because RF caps are never in stock)

I'm glad Rafa thinks like that, focusing about his love for tennis, and not chasing majors. It is just who he is, even though it's always better to win. In contrast, Djokovic is so focused on winning the most slams that it creates unnecessary pressure on himself. The US Open was an example of that and was one of the reason why he didn't play so well, want to win the calendar slam. Keep humble and play your best Rafa. Win or lose on Sunday against Medvedev, Rafa will always be a winner in my book.

Incredible press conference. Rafa really went deep with some of his answers here. He showed how close he was to hanging up his racquet. As Rafa has said in the past, he is a competitor and I am not sure he was totally prepared to let go of that fighting attitude on the court because of an injury.

A while back I made a comment that at this point Nadal is just playing for himself. Some people didn't get what I was saying, but Nadal basically just wrapped it all up with this answer. Goodnesses gracious, he is in a wonderful career, personal, and good head space to just want to do what he loves and that is enough. Extremely motivating. Wow! Man! 3:18

Agree about Rafa. And yes our government is run by clowns. But Novak also came to our country lying on declaration forms, giving false covid test info and with a tonne of entitlement. Shouldn’t have been given a visa to begin with and would’ve saved everyone a tonne of hassle.

@@rubberducky4074 Novak is amongst the FEW sane individuals who know that these "vaccines" will have long-term devastating consequences. The Australian government is even more CORRUPT than the rest of them! The one thing they ought to have done was to say an EMPHATIC no to ALL who are unvaccinated! The Australian people are dormant, obedient followers of their corrupt government.
