Another fun and informative video Rafi. Definitely agree that a smaller city can offer all you might need without the stress and craziness of a large city. Looks like Braga has a good mix of everything and glad to see you are enjoying it. Thanks for taking us around. We really love the "out and abouts."

Braga has a smaller crowd of people compared to throngs of tourists in Rome or Venice or Milan at the same time of year. It is just so crowded in those places that I can't enjoy myself when people are pushed up against me or bumping into me on a really busy street. I either have to go on a shoulder season or find a place out in the country to stay away from the crowds. (Or just go to Braga!) As for Braga, how big and/or crowded is the center of the city and the outskirts, compared to any of the cities in Italy? Would it even be as busy or less busy as Merano?

Another great video about Braga. Love your walking about and comparisons with other PT cities. Braga is on our list so appreciate your comparisons immensely. 🙏🏻 Question: Like you, we prefer to NOT have a car immediately…maybe in the future. Until then, are there flat/walkable residential areas near the downtown pedestrian areas? Obrigado e Grazie. 👍🏻
@RafaelDiFuria2 жыл бұрын
Glad you enjoyed it! Nothing here is totally flat, when I’m talking about flat here it’s less of an incline but you do find areas with less on an incline directly adjacent to the center of the city. But you also find some very steep hills close by as well. The problem is there are so few places here that are available that you kind of have to jump on what comes your way and fits into what you’re roughly looking for.

Hi Rafael, thanks for sharing this informative video! You said you experienced difficulty finding an apartment to rent in Braga. Where is this demand coming from? Is it because more and more Portuguese locals are moving to Braga and there aren't enough units? I heard that locals are being pushed out of Lisbon because of the increase in prices...perhaps the same is happening in Porto and they're moving to places like Braga instead?
@ferrazcouto98852 жыл бұрын
Braga is Catholic, they respect all bodies. Catholic customs make streets safer.
