With the recent expansion of the 1979 motion picture soundtrack Moonraker, the world has discovered that much of John Barry's wonderful score ended up on the cutting room floor. This scene is the part where the villain Hugo Drax is launching his first half of 6 Moonraker space shuttles. The movie originally showed this scene without music, but now you can hear what it would have been if it was left in the film.
In my opinion, John Barry created a fantastic piece of music that emphasizes the omnipotent god-like persona of Drax as his fleet of shuttles rise around him. A truly missed opportunity which director Lewis Gilbert should have left in.
