Just watching the film now the time is about 1960 . The TK lorry was born . And it is before 1963 as number plates went to an A prefix in that year . So certainly between 1960 and 1963 . Obviously taken at Christmas time with the lights on . Best I can do at the moment . I'll let you know if I spot anything else .

Enjoyed "slice of British middle-class girls wanna-be cool" trying life in soon to "swing" London- romance, intrigue, as a "grown" woman. I noticed, but couldn't find even on the Internet Movie Data Base site, any info on either film- Rag Doll and Never Talk to Strangers which I watched before this flick- I noticed the same actress, plays a well-scrubbed much younger than her actual years I think- oh to be lit and air-brushed by cinematic methods! She's not a bad actress- where can I find out anything about these films? Only complaint- way too short- one just gets interested in their lives and character and then, a trauma of some kind- then, whoosh- film over. Guess these were shown as a double feature? Too bad. Thanks for showing such hard to find "B" movies, I quite enjoy most of them. Especially the ones with Diana Dors and Jane Asher, Paul McCartney's muse long ago- Peter's (Peter and Gordon) sister... Namaste fro Canada

Nice to see a film made when John Diefenbaker was PM of Canada, and Canada was still a land of opportunity for British people to move to. Apparently, the lead actress actually did move here, and is now a Canadian citizen.

Great character actors in this, such as Hermione Badderely. It was either her or her sister Angela who was in Upstairs Downstairs I forget which one. The cafe owner who I thought was a wrong un at first, but who turned out not to be after all. The boyfriend played by Jess Conrad reminded me of the actor Nigel Harmon. Typically black and white beatnik film from 1961 with an interesting storyline, excellently drawn characters and a definite ending. Leaving the main character holding the baby. Thank you for uploading this.

I'm sure this is a very well done movie, but at 60 I just don't have the stomach to watch this kind of movie. I can't stand watching people especially young women being put through this kind of thing, I have two daughters and thank God they are living a good life. Had anything like this happened to them I would be in prison. Maybe after 5:00 it went a different direction, just don't think I want to find out.

She says she can't believe people are still watching them for the first time! She does reply to some comments on her videos and amazingly, her voice sounds exactly the same as 60 years ago😁

B-movie about the misfortunes of a runaway teenager from a small town who learns the hard way about the evils of a big town. An old worn out plot idea that we are all too well familiar with. It's rudimentaly slapped together here but keeps us mildly hooked to the story till the end.
