प्रिय मित्र , ऐसे तो मैं अपने बारे में कभी बताता नही पर आपने मेरे प्रिय , आदरणीय और आदर्श गायक को महापुरुष लिखा है , प्रसन्नता हुई इसीलिए बता रहा हूं । यूं तो मेरे सदगुरु योगिराज हरकरे जी हैं , गायन गुरु पंडित पांडुरंग राव जी हैं परंतु बापूजी ( पंडित जी ) और मेरा सन १९७७ से जो आत्मिक प्रेम हुआ , वो उनके अंतिम समय तक रहा , वे विनम्र थे , स्वयं होकर मुझे मुंबई से फोन करते थे , मैं ग्वालियर निवासी हूं , वे मुझे अपने घर बुलाते , मैं उनकी गोद में सिर रखता , फिर मुझे वे खाना खिलवाते अपनी थाली से रोटी देते , फिर एकाध बार मेरा गायन भी सुनते , कहते " डॉक्टर साहब आप बहुत अच्छा गाते हैं !" उनकी आवाज अगर खराब हो तो अमेरिका से मुझे फोन करते और इलाज पूछते थे ! / मेरे गायन की लिंक भेजता हूं। * डॉ ईश्वर चंद्र रामचंद्र करकरे एम बी बी एस ,एम डी ,एम ए संगीत , शास्त्रीय गायक दूरदर्शन, सदस्य आकाशवाणी चयन बोर्ड।
