Divine intervention Two simple girls from Mumbai, trained meticulously by a great Guru and with a firm grounding go with great expectations to play on the violin at Satguru Thyagaraja’s abode in Tiruvayyaru not realising there is a protocol but end up playing at the Sannidhi. And in a few minutes they are called not to play the violin but to sing on stage! If this is not divine intervention, then what is it? The decision of a future course was taken on that day by Satguru Thyagaraja himself! We rasikas in turn are a blessed lot to be enabled to listen to that divine Music! And the proof of that was in the nuanced Nagumo with which the episode began. What a rendition! You’ve become Pros at effortlessly dishing out profound statements in a simple manner. A lot to learn - on following the footsteps of a Guru, imbibing every advice, the girlish delight to partake even today in the Aradhana inspite of a celestial status and the acknowledgement of a Mother’s solid support. You are role models for younger talent. Not a streak of arrogance and a ‘know all’ attitude. Apart from some great Music, these episodes are bringing rasikas closer to you. There are no inhibitions whatsoever! Smiling faces, elegant looks, vibrant colours, harmonious and joyous Music are becoming integral to these shows. Such a pleasure. Sabaash!

Its really something different vibes you feel while performing in front of saints or Gods. On one of my tour to Gujarat, I went to a place, famous for Shri.Dattatrey temple and wanted to perform there but unfortunately temple get closed till I reach in night. But as per acharya there told me to sit n play at Samadhi temple of Sri Vasudevanand Saraswti on the bank of River Narmada. After playing for around an hour n half, acharya came near to me and gave me a shawl which was placed on Samadhi for a day, as a prasadam to me. It was immense pleasure and blessing to get it as prasadam.

Just look at the excitement beaming through your faces! Though I have never been to Thiruvaiyyaru, your super-vivid description of the festival was so delicious to the mind; I've had my share of the sublime feeling through this video! The Nagumomu was brief, but lovely. Such an adorable Kharaharapriya moment too! I really adore the way both of you compliment each other just through simple glances and smiles - it shows how much respect and admiration you have for each other's styles and musical thought processes. Waiting for another Raga Candid! I would love to see a ragamalika swara battle in which both of you try to guess each other's ragas in a rapid fire. It would truly be a dream come true for RaGa rasika like me!

Sai Ram. As you so rightly said, your visit to Tyagaraja Swami Sannidhi was a booster - not only for you two, but through you two, to the recipients of the divine music - like us. Especially speaking about myself, I am ZERO as far as music knowledge is concerned, but am sensitive to energy that comes in different forms including music. Today, my spinal chord was vibrating with energy when you two were sharing your experiences and singing. May Sadguru bless you. As your elder, my blessings to you and as Her child, my prostrations to the Divine Mother who showers us with the nectar of divine music through you two.

Akkas, you are truly blessed by Shri Thyagaraja Swamy with blissful and soulful music... Thyagaraja Swamy’s compositions are truly gems of Carnatic Music and as you rightly said, they give you valuable life lessons; guidelines to becoming a good human being. Pakkala Nilabadi is as special to me as it is to you, it has given me goosebumps and hearing you singing it was just...wah wah! I truly and sincerely wish I was able to attend the Aradhana but duties and daily routines make me unable to do so. But thank you so much for brightening up my Monday evening! Also Brochevaarevare, Neerajakshi Kamakshi, the Simhendramadhyamam RTP (the Sindhubhairavi cum Mohanakalyani was astounding, mind blowing!), Raghuvara Tumko and Roop Pahata Lochani was absolutely spell-binding! Love you both! ❤️❤️❤️😍😍😍💛💛💛

Aw !! Such a great eye opening episode . Tyagaraja swami is the greatest composer . You both described the memories so nicely . And the memory when gayatri mam spoke of the first time you played in the aradhana . Definitely it would have been the most exciting moment and imagining your tender fingers eager to grab the violins and get out of the car , oh brings back so many old memories and will remain reminiscent always . When you both speak , the memories spring up beautifully . Pakkala nilabadi is a old gold . A golden composition and masterpiece immortalised by you two . It's so wonderful when gayatri mam starts the first phrase of kharaharapriya. And you both are glowing here with beauty . Those sarees look gorgeous and gayatri Mam's kalamkari blouse . Looks so gorgeous and dashing on her . 😁😁😁

What a beautiful episode detailing your association with the aradhana at Tiruvaiyaru. You have truly mastered the art of story telling and every time I feel that I'm on your fantastic journey with you. Both of you take such pleasure in recounting your stories that are generously peppered with humor, mimicry, joy, giving each other space and of course melodious music. It is just wonderful to watch. Lately, my favorite thing to look forward to is that look you give each other before you merge your music into one during concerts being duplicated just before you say in unison "See you next week..." It's just adorable! God bless! By the way, the vitamin dosage is apparent. You both definitely look refreshed :)

From the event mentioned in this episode and few of those mentioned in the previous ones about your budding period, I could see that you were super passionate and quite focused in music with minimal distractions or procrastination. It had already become your life. The determination to be associated to music is what brought you to His Sannidhi. This should be keenly understood by upcoming generation for whom digital media and fame is all they aim for. The passion in those days were pure and for self. Things are changing. Thanks for bringing this up. I hope this message reaches the entire world. You are an asset to the musical world

Hearing to Nagumomu & Pakkala Nilabadi from u rite the first thing on the monday is so amazing & refreshing. As Honorable Vice President said Carnatic Music should be installed in every person from childhood. I feel so bad for not having an opportunity to learn music in my childhood due to lack of facilities & opportunites. Chakkani Rajamargamu - as you said it resonates to what Ranjani akka said "follow your passion with sincerity & rest follows you" Congratualtions for the amazing and memorable concert ar Gayana Samaja on Saturday. Still lingering the magical Malayamarutham, Kalyani & kalyanavasantha rtp. So soulful and divine renditions 🙏 Question: Does the treatment of a specific Raga changes by the composer. ex Saint Tyagaraja Swamy vs Saint Muttuswamy percieved a raga in different style.
Akka I just now heard the full session. You sang nagumomu and pakkala nilabadi beautifully. Could recollect the experiences at thiruvaiyaru. I see it in TV but couldn't have the bhagyam of going directly.
