One of my Columbia Record Club albums from about 1967.... or from Zayres $3.99 back in the day... In my stacks, somewhere.... We got to see Shankar at The Field Museum TWICE! 1980s...90's... So nice a man... HUMAN! Such wonderful music. With Kamala and Alai Raka, tabala... J.C.

Pure bliss. The recording which I heard first in Patna in Oct 77, at the house of Mr. Gopendra Singh that kick started my love affair with Indian music. Sheer perfection. All the musicians were in their prime at this time.

Me too. My mother bought this album for me in 1967. The two of us saw him concert at that time. We were the only two non-hippies in the theater. Yes, "heavenly world full of bliss". Do you like the other side?
