The trick is to not go too far left or you become a carbon copy of the equivalent on the right. Believe me when I say that extreme leftists are as obnoxious as the far right. I consider myself left of the middle, but there has to be a balance somewhere along the line. If you shoot for systems of government that rely too heavily on the good will of people and their desire to share for a greater good, you end up with a whole new set of problems. The reasons are quite clear, and those reasons are that there are people in the world who genuinely have little to no empathy. They are quite literally incapable of understanding the need to tackle homelessness, poverty and starvation. Somebody of this mind set will not be too happy in a socialist environment which would only lead to another revolution of like minded people. Then comes the snag; what do the leftist society do in order to tackle the revolution? Do they force people with a capitalist mindset to toe the line? If so, are the left not becoming the very thing they fought hard to escape? Just thoughts by the way, but when younger people talk about revolution they need to make sure they are doing it the right way, with a sustainable plan in mind.

Saw them at Lollapalooza II, as the very first act at 10:30am. Later that day bought their CD from Tom at their tent. Instant fan for life. 30 years later I am still fighting. But being a natural born rebel lead me to switch sides. As The Machine for me! Was giving me a fish to control me for life. When I wanted to learn how to fish for me self, I was cast out. Leaned how to fish and woke up to realize the freedoms that was stolen from me by giving up my vote. 2020 The Machine has be unmasked with martial law and quarantines. While those chosen white politicians eat at restaurants as "we are under control" Reminds me of when Zack is yelling "WAAAAAAAKE UP!" The old quote is still true, "Evil will never tell your wrong. As long as you always agree and obey". Took 15 years to figure that out. Another 5 years to realized you want a leader like Chef Ramsey not Barny the dinosaur. 2021 is going to be epic! As a teenager in the 90s I didn't fully understand what he was talking about, but it planted the seeds for sure. Listening to these songs as a 37 year old mom hits way different though. My 13 year old doesn't understand why I damn near cry listening to songs I've heard a million times, but it hurts that these songs are still relevant today. Bulls On Parade is a phrase that used to be used by union workers that used to go on strike in the 1950s and it meant that when the employees stopped working and went on strike so that their bosses would pay them more money, the company bosses would call the police or security on the protestors to remove them from on front of their building. So Bulls On Parade was the protestors telling each other the cops are coming so lets turn into bulls that won't back down. Then in the 1960s the Black Panther movement used the same phrase to get ready to fight against the police when they were hosed with water. So Rage Against The Machine is saying in this video we are Bulls On Parade too and we won't back down to the police. This is deep shit.
