Both One side hates the game itself for it being often misconceptioned as a BoTW copy and an anime game, along with all the "gacha/anime/waifu game bad" stuff The other side hates its fanbase, which I kinda agree is just pure trash as it's almost always often filled with cringy and repetitive stuff. And yes, I know this applies to every single fanbase, but Genshin's is way more noticeable and more annoying. And this is coming from a Genshin player that has played and witnessed the terrible community shenanigans for more than a year And there are people who are double sided in this, as in, hate the game and it's fanbase. In some cases the hate is reasonable, but most of the time it's annoying seeing the same lame excuses from the haters over and over again
