Never underestimate your opponents in this game, even if it seems like you're at a big advantage people can still bring it back. Had a match where my team was at 1900 for 2 minutes straight with the other team at 1300 and climbing, we nearly lost

So far the game is very fast paced and addictive so even if you win or lose a match you just move on. It will feel repetitive but once the full game releases hopefully more maps and characters will spice it up. The downside seems to be having useless bots at times as partners

If you play dingodile again, hold Square on PlayStation controller while walking, and he will spin for a few seconds, which will help you out by knocking them out.

@WumpaLewis When playing as Crash press R2 and Square around enemies. He does a dash attack that damages and pushes enemies far away. It's really useful around cliffs and rivers cause if the enemy falls into them you get a kill

lmao it's basically just a Crash MOBA. If you haven't played a MOBA before, get ready to experience all the (not-so) beautiful trolling, griefing, inting and toxicity that comes with the genre. Coming up with creative ways to deal with the stress of the whole package is an art form in and of itself.

Not just a MOBA, but one with no map or way to ping team mates, or communicate in any way. They may add these things later but that they're not in the beta is pretty concerning. I'd never play a team multiplayer game again, there's just nothing fun for me about having to put up with other people being useless. This genre does seem to attract those who just want to annoy other people though, and I don't think making them pay for access will stop that.

@@aheenobarbushenocied9880 I played Heroes of the Storm from early alpha until a few months after the 2.0 update, spent a few grand on skins and XP boosts too. I was heavily into it, sometimes playing 10 hours a day. It was amazing before the loot box update, and then just turned into actual hell, and died not long after. I get that the average person is into the free to play competitive stuff because, well, it's free primarily, and also it gives their lives meaning to show total strangers how much better than them they are... At a video game. And honestly, to each their own, but it's not for me. I liked playing, and obviously winning is a bonus, but it wasn't because someone else lost that it was fun. Removing the ability to communicate was supposed to help with "toxicity" in HOTS but it just made it worse. We can't have nice things, it's not how online multiplayer works. It's not how people work. We're way too unstable a species to share or get along just because. They even tried to incentivise being nice to people by adding end of match rewards lmao. It also didn't work, and the devs just gave up and stopped supporting it. And this game won't work either for all the same reasons. The big ones that maintain players like FIFA or COD only remain successful because they release new expensive content regularly and people have FOMO. I can't see Toys For Bob or whoever giving this the same long-term support those games get. It will have a few weeks, maybe a month of hype, before 6 to 8 months of "well the next update will be better" before the inevitable server shutdown notice at roughly the 12 month mark since the only people still playing will be the ones who care deeply about their rank and think everyone else isn't playing properly.

Played in beta and early launch too, then quit, then heard how shit hit the fan, forgot it existed, and now you brought it up. Kinda tragic lol. I'd guess the same for the lifespan of this game. IDK what the dev's were thinking about when deciding to go for a MOBA-style experience. Probably their own inexperience.

I think my biggest criticisms of this game are: 1. The Gasmoxian Guard. That guy needs to be nerfed. Hard. 2. The matchmaking balance. I'm always getting placed into matches where the enemy team are masters and my own team are total idiots. One time I even had my whole team go AFK on me.

from what I've played crash and coco's slams are really good, they're able to instantly take characters out of the balls, leaves characters stunned for a really long time to rack up more damage and with coco having a bit less health than dingo she's damn near unkillable in most cases because of her high mobility, the zap wall, and her high mobility making it impossible to actually take her down

I have no hate towards exclusivity, I understand Crash Bandicoot was originally a console game, but strategically speaking, they're killing themselves with the only console releases. For CTR it was understandable, as it requires somewhat smooth controls, and some PC players might not have a controller at hand to play, but this is a fun party game which could have a great potential on PC if they could implement an effective anti-cheat system.

You know what? Counter strike global has the more playerbase in a fps game and it is actually the most repetitive one, you can't aim nor run like in cod, you can't use vehicles like in halo or battlefield, and there aren't any interesting gimmicks gameplaywise like in valorant or overwatch, it is simply the basis of what a fps could be and most people seems to willingly settle for that. My point is that people are too emotional to make sense on what they prefer and what is objectively better. The game couldn't be on more capable hands than toys for bob, the only reason i see this floping is because of activision schemes and the bad marketing but gameplaywise the game look smooth and the connection is pretty solid from what i've seen so far so that is already a good sign, and lets be honest here people wants this game to somewhat redefine the moba genre or be the next big thing in the competitive gaming but bro it is just crash, not like any of their old games surpassed the average benchmark before n.sane trilogy and crash 4 we just love them for their characters and memories we have and that is perfectly fine guys. I just hope we get at least an entire year of support for this, and if it has crossplatform then it is ludicrous to think it will flop as hars as ctrnf.

By the way as Crash you can press R2 mid air to do an air jog thing. It’s really helpful and I would also suggest trying out CoCo because she is so fast with her dive ability. She’s so good and flexible with being a booster and scorer

10:59 Yes you can, the devs wanted each character to have soft roles. So a blocker can both score and boost. It is harder for Dingodile unless you use the vacuum suck, but it is entirely doable. Coco can do a good job at blocking and being annoying

My favorite is Cortex and thanks to his gun giving him long range he can be blocker a bit as well. With Cortex gun making it easier to take care of Gas Guards blocking your bank

Coco is a hard counter to Dingo. Tawna is also a really good pick. Crash struggles because to answer to Dingo, he'd have to commit to a trade, and Dingo will win. Coco and Tawna doesn't have to do that. Coco can just drop off a wall, Tawna can hook Dingo and dish out more damage than him in one string

So today, I decided to take the plunge and bought Crash Team Rumble, not because I had any motivation to play it but my friends love it and this game is a million times better with friends to form as a team. Overall, the game in the beta right now is alright, but I just don't feel like the game can hold it's own for a solid year after it's full release. It needs to add more music, characters and stages for it to be successful. I believe the levels you get for the battle pass and characters do transfer over to the full game so there's a benefit to playing the beta.

Decided to try out Crash Team Rumble Beta and try out a Competitive match. Last time I'm doing that because some of the opponents you pair up with, seem to be spamming the spin button CONSTANTLY to the point that it's absolutely annoying. Wish I never preordered or played this game. You can call me a rage quitter too if you want, I don't care, but why should I have to be in a game with idiots that seem to spam buttons constantly? I HOPE that TFB put in an offline mode and some sort of campaign, because being online with random people who are so brutal with their attacks especially to the uninitiated, can be an absolute joke.

The beta has only been out for three days and im already getting overly competitive matches with people either hunting me down or ganging up on me at my own base.

It's causing an even bigger problem than just matching random players against each other. I'm looking to play for fun, not to play like I'm in a tournament with a million bucks on the line.
