Yes Sir Great Reaction, you were right in thinking all these Songs were written separately, Rens said his inspiration for the Tales was a Story in the News about a young boy in court who’d gone off the rails, Jenny’s Tale was released in 2019 followed almost a year later by Screeches Tale, then he tied up the story with Violets Tale much later by releasing that Song in the Summer of 2022, all Videos done Live and in one Take.

Like, your gonna be in this journey and literally every song your gonna be like “welp, didn’t expect that, he can do that too?!” Dude’s musical range is unlike anyone in music right now bro. For real. Who can rap rap, sing sing, story tell, captivate, and do so across multiple genres of music effortlessly, all while producing/mixing his own music, while playing multiple instruments at a high level, and direct his own videos and creatively come up with the entire world he presents???? You reacting to Ren has been a real joy. I don’t watch other reactors as they typically aren’t musicians/rappers like yourself. You get all the details a casual wouldn’t get because you actually make great songs. I really enjoyed all the Ren reactions. I never even heard of Ren til you dropped Hi Ren reaction. Ren’s story is so unique and heartbreaking. When I hear his music, I know why it’s so good because he spent countless hours alone learning, perfecting his craft because he had no other choice. Most people put into his situation wouldn’t embrace it like he did and he turned it into something special. Something that can’t be replicated. I grew up listening to the greats (2pac, Em, legends). After going through all of Ren’s music, I can confidently say he’s my favorite artist to date. Thanks Crypt! You’re a dope dude.

I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere, (but I don't read a lot of comments), but I think the whole "And it's such a shame." That Ren sings, is a dig at us. At the audience. How many times have we heard of horrific tragedies going on, and we just turn a blind eye to it and say "Man, such a shame." And we move on. We never actually do anything about it.

I think Ren's most impressive trait is his musical and lyrical writing ability. He's next level and his writing has substance and wit. He has an amazing way with words and paints a picture vividly while sounding good. Such a talented young man. 1 of 1.

Violet's tale happened in 2005 (two zero zero five) and Jenny and Screech's tale happened in 2019, 14 years later. Twins separated at birth and then Screech ends up killing his twin without knowing she existed. Jenny inherited her mother's silence and Screech inherited his father's violence. Jenny knew the streets and walked them in high heels which tells you a bit about her and what she became. Another interesting part is when he knocks on his friend Patrick's door and he wasn't there and then calls his girlfriend who said she was busy was because they were actually together behind his back.

He wrote Jenny’s Tale and Screech’s Tale at the same time (they are part of a 5 song EP called “The Tale of Jenny and Screech”), but released the videos about 5 or some months apart, but both in 2019. Violet’s Tale was written and filmed in 2021 or 22 (not sure), but it takes place in 2005, 14 years before 2019, which is when the first two songs were released and presumably when they take place. Jenny and James aka Screech born in 2005, and dead 14 years later in 2019

From what I understand, he wrote the first 2 songs after reading an article about a very young man murdering a young woman in London, he didn't write "Violet's Tale" until a few years later and that one was of his own making. He said that there are 2 songs so far that he wrote, that he knew in his gut were special. "Hi Ren" (of course) and "Violet's Tale". He was right on both counts imo.
