Geez, this takes me back. I remember waiting impatiently for Raging Amish's weekly upload nearly every single day, and seeing this video being uploaded was fucking HYPE for me as a 13 y/o zombie fan. Also, the Winter's Howl deserves more love and needs to appear in more maps.

The Thunder Gun is the best wonderweapon, I don't think there is even a question. People say the wunderwaffe is best, I'd call that just nostalgia for an old time classic.

I know you don't play many games anymore, but I'm surprised no one mentioned the changes on the Wunderwaffe for ya. XD Idk if you figured it out since this 8 year old video, but the World at War Wunderwaffe was glitched. If you shocked yourself with Jugger-nog, the weapon would take away the effects of your Jugg, without taking the icon away. You'd be left with two hits instead of 4-6 for the rest of the game. That applies to both upgraded and non-upgraded. Thankfully, the Black Ops version was changed to act normally, and shocking yourself does barely any damage to the player. Hope you're doing well, Amish. :)

Very old comment, I know. But it's worth adding that they did serverly nerfed the Wunderwaffe with each entries, Black Ops 3 being a prime example of a gun being a shell of it's former self. I remember when in Shi No Numa I was the last survivor out if the four players, and took the gondola to get away from the undead. Once they all started to pile up, I took one shot at their general direction and fried almost all of them. Used the next two on the remainders and the round was over, thus bringing my team back to life. I can understand why they nerfed the gun back then, tho I think 24 zombies pack a punched is actually reasonably good considering how much you pay to upgrade the weapon. Don't get me started on how it performs in Black Ops 3, it's just a novelty at best that should only be used just to see what it was like, albeit far from when it was actually powerful. With that all being said, MW3 will have Treyarch Zombies and I do miss the Amishman. Maybe I could one day do him proud and make Zombie/CoD videos in the style of RagingAmish, but we will see.

Also, another change made is that the wunderwaffe (yeah I can't spell) doesn't zap your juggernog anymore. In WaW, zapping yourself with the non-upgraded AND/OR upgraded wunderwaffe (DG3-JZ) would take your juggernog away. It was joked that JZ stood for Juggernog Zapper, but that is kinda wrong because the non-upgraded version did it too. Also, LOVE the Monty Python reference. ITS ONLY A FLESH WOUND!

(Purely for informative purposes) You're right that the Ray Gun does stop 1-hit killing the zombies at roughly Round 19, but specifically, it's between Rounds 18-22 or 22-25 if Pack-a-Punched. Now, that being said, all this comes at a price (literally), and that's it's reward for killing zombies, 50 points, making it the least effective for getting points. (though my sources aren't clear whether or not this is affected by the Double Points power-up so if someone could let me know, that'd be great)

@chromzepher The kill potential of the ThunderGun is based about how far you are from the zombie, close = kill far = throw the zombie away far. So it's effect won't change either if you are on round 10 or 90

Favorite Wonder Weapons are the Ray Gun and the Thunder Gun. They Ray Gun can get you a decent amount of points and can easily make crawlers if aimed at the feet. The Thunder Gun is good for making running paths if you get cornered.

I like the Wunderwaffe in Black ops because they took out the glitch where if you shock yourself with the DG3 you lose you ability for Juggernog and you go down in two hits from a zombie.

I have been to round 50, and I ran out of ammo and replaced it, and got it back almost immediately. It kills at the same range. I also watch a couple of people go 100+, and they had the non pap'd version, and it killed.

Because less splash damage is mostly a DISadvantage. Less splash damage, less chance of knocking zombies on their ass. Or stomach, in this case.

Actually Treyarch didn't thought them up, Ray Gun was a actual Imperial Japanese weapon project, and the Wunderwaffe DG-2 was a Wermacht weapon project. Or something like that, I only know that all of the Wonder Weapons are a reference to either a zombie story ( VR-11) or a failed weapon project (Ray Gun, Thunder Gun, Wunderwaffe and Winter's Howl) As you could see, the Indiana Jones scene was a reference to the actual projected Wunderwaffe, that, in the Nazi time, meant "W.M.D"

Actually guys, the thunder gun is much more powerful then the wonder waffe because the damage on it is infinite as on the wonder waffe the damage is infinite but will stop killing 10 zombies after higher rounds and the thunder gun will kill the same amount of zombies after round 50000 or whatever.

They're confirmed to be Wonder Weapons...BTW, they do use Element 115. The power source is 115.

It's funny, he's talking about wonder weapons, and he never even mentions the HK21 or the RPK. I know they're just machine guns, but when pack-a-punched, the HK21 becomes the H115 Occilator, and the RPK becomes the R115 Resonator. Hint: there's a background story behind zombies. Element 115 created the zombies, powers all teleporters, and came down in a meteorite. Another hint: all of this was found out from easter eggs spread throughout the levels. Search "black ops zombies easter eggs"

I don't know about the ray gun, but if Dr. Maxis was german(and I'm pretty sure he was) then the thunder gun is german because I got it from the mystery box and Dr. Richtoffen said something like "so this is what Dr. Maxis was working on", and the thundergun and ray gun were created by the same person I think.

If the zombies are right in your face when you shoot them, they won't be affected. If you look at the thundergun part of the video, you'll notice a zombie got close enough to attack him, and when he pulled the trigger, the other zombies were killed but the first zombie was still there.

amish, good video, but a note on the winters howl, it actually does unlimited/0 damage. its completely random.it kills them or slows them down, doing nothing. same thing with the thunder gun. it kills them up to a certain range, then it just knocks them down. get as close as you can when you shoot.

Thunder gun always beats wonder waffle. The thunder gun never looses its power. If a horde traps you in a corner the thunder gun will take care of it no matter the round

The wunderwaffe is to acurate. I was playing in Shino Numa and I got the wunderwaffe for the first time. I was surrounded by zombies and I pulled the trigger. Some how, the shot flew between two zombies and they killed me. When I get the thundergun, I kill so many zombies at once that my points go from 1500 to 2350!

I somewhat disagree with the thunder gun being the most powerful wonder weapon... as the rounds go on, it only knocks the zombies down. As far as I know, the Wunderwaffle only takes one shot to kill, but it's range/ number of zombies killed per blast is decreased as the rounds go on.

Amish if you shock yourself with the pack a punched wunderwaffe, it will permanently take away your juggernog. It will still look like its there, but it is not. To get it back, you have to get downed and buy it again.

I think the Wunderwaffe DG-2 Is better than the Thunder gun. My reason for this is because eventually the Thunder gun loses damage and will blow some zombies back but they get back up while the Wunderwaffe DG-2 does not lose damage it keeps it's capacity of 10 zombies and will always be an instant kill. There is my opinion

in my eyes, the Wunderwaffe is better than the thundergun. Why? Because the wunderwaffe will ALWAYS retain a one shot kill on ANY round, were as the thunder gun will blow away zombies, but if you watch closely in the video, the zombies get back up sometimes

I was REALLY REALLY REALLY hoping the Winter Howl would make it into tranzit in BO2. but it didn't. would have been a nice fit, freezing the burning zombies

Still, do the math. You get 14 thundergun shots that can take on 24 zombies per shot. So, 14 x 24=336 kills with each thundergun shot. However, with the wunderwaffe, you get 18 shots that can kill 10 zombies per shot, resulting in 180 kills. So, the thundergun is clearly the winner, along with the fact that it reloads faster and when you have the wunderwaffe, and you have a zombie blocking you, you probably don't have time to aim down and you will down, versus the thundergun, you see it you kill

good point but that is the only one map and you would have to do the Easter egg to get it also it's a drop from witch you have to get lucky to get, in other maps like Shi No Numa or Der Rise that do have the wunderwaffe out of the box.
