I uploaded this at 11 pm, so we're running a little close to the wire. Hope you enjoy the galil review, as it's the last "relevant" weapon in black ops I needed to cover.

By far the most versatile weapon I have ever touched in Call of Duty. It's got the iron sights of gold, a golden damage output, a golden magazine capacity, and some attachments that make it more gold. Suppressor, Dual mags, Extended Mags, Noob tubes... This thing can pretty much do anything good besides using an ACOG Sight or Thermal Scope, but who gives a shit for Black Ops ACOG's (besides on the M16)? Put on Dual Mags, and you have 205 bullets without even touching Scavenger. SoH speeds up the somewhat slow reload. Extended Mags makes it the new HK21 Drum Mag, except new and improved. The Suppressor makes the Galil a monster, as always. Warlord for Suppressor and Dual/Extended Mags. Get Hardened + Extended Mags and you basically have a new LMG on the block. This thing is by far my favourite weapon I have ever touched in Call of Duty history. It was forged by Jesus Christ himself.

weakestlink20 the iron sights are good , they don't waste a ton of space like some do and they directly point you at the sight so you can easily see enemies .

Antonio Klaić Exactly. So you don't need an optical attachment and can use Dual Mags or Suppressor instead.

The supressor isnt just for stealth, they also remove the muzzle flash making it easier to use the iron sights

Awesome review for one of my most-used AR. If one were to want to run with high streaks, I'd say the Galil would be the best option for a long haul AR, given its base 35 ammo clip and 105 backup ammo. Throw in Scavenger+Ext. mags, and you have a 'lil LMG that can wreck. Now as for Ghost+Suppressor, you have to give credit to those who run a setup for an anti-air or vs rampant spyplanes~ Honestly though, it makes a good stealth and flank AR setup while running hacker plus jammer & low streaks.

FINALLY! My Fav weapon in Black Ops. Odd that you said you thought it lacked Identity, as for me it's one of the few guns with personality. Sure it has slow reloads, but in a way that's part of it's charm. It reminds you that you're using a different weapon. Plus, fantastic irons and low recoil make this the SCAR-H of Black Ops, but with a bigger mag.

@TheStrangerInTheRye The problem is that the ingame bars are wrong, as I've said before the Galil and AK-47 both do 40-30 damage. Test it it out in a private match if you feel like. And also the Commando does the same damage as these two rifles as well, even though the "bars" says the AK does more.

@shansen751 the only gun that doesn't have reduced range is the SPAS-12. Every other gun has its damage drop off sooner with the suppressor. To go along with what Amish said about the suppressor, I don't like it for another reason. This may just be a mental thing, but the recoil seems a bit more pronounced and random with the suppressor attached. I never do well with the suppressor on the Galil, so I never use it. I still absolutely love the gun though. Great job Amish. Love the reviews.

this is my fav gun to go around stealth killing with ghost pro and i warlord it with suppressor and dual mags, and use ninja and ballistic knives with tomahawks and flash-bangs for clearing rooms and teams... try it aggressively and its easily a rock solid stealth aggression class

My favorite setup for the Galil is: Dual Mag or grenade launcher for takin out attackers on flags or bomb sites secondary M1911 extended mag or RPG for defending flags, Flak Jacket, Sleight of Hand/Pro, and Marathon, Tomahawk: The Kill type game modes/Semtex Objective gameplay, Concussion grenade, and C4. Making this gun good for any game mode.

@Jash2o2 I think i can agree with you on that, though the only weapon i found to kill the fun of playing MW2 was the grenade launcher and the commando perk. Sure it was a little annoying to find every person using the best gun available (mostly the UMP) but to get killed by them they would´ve to engage you in a firefight, which might give them an advantage but you still have a chance. Getting knifed or exploded from miles away seemed much more unfair.

I use teal crosshairs and a dot in the middle and blue lens. It allowd you to see very accurately as the body armor of many are green or white also red is okay

@Treblaine If the radar bugs you out to much, there is still a hardcore playlist, which i personally can´t recommend as it is riddled with campers, not "Ambushers", people who lie down in a badly visible spot and wait for someone to come by so you have no chance of noticing him if he´s using Ghost and Silencer.

You ever try Counterstrike Amish? My first exposure to this gun was in Counterstrike's 1.6 patch. That patch introduced the budget-priced assault rifles, the Famas for the counter-terrorists and the Galil for the terrorists. Funny enough, I ended up liking the budget assault rifles a lot more than the top of the line M4 and AK47. The Famas had a burst fire mode for easy headshots, and of course the Galil with its 35 round mag.

@Treblaine I feel kinda the same about the game. I like the idea with the equipment, non-stackable killstreaks and the customization tools. My biggest disappointment was the choice of guns. Like Amish said in his video, many guns just don´t seem much different and are more or less clones of each other. In MW2 almost every gun had a different "feel" to it, i can´t really explain how that works but it made the game much more interesting.

@Treblaine By using ghost and silencer you take the opponent´s abbility to spot you with the radar away WHILE still maintaining the option to use the radar to spot anyone using a non-silenced gun, that´s what i ment by invisible. To top it off, you can still have the UAV at 3 kills which exposes every non-ghost user to your view and you´re (partially) invincible to airsupport, which means you yourself can take down a 7 killstreak. The radar IS partially essential, at least to the newer CoD games

@Minus3Pigeons I was referencing the bars that appear on the game, which don't take into account recoil, ADS, mag size or reload time, according to those bars, my comment is exactly right. The method for calculating the damage used in the game must be different, because according to the game, the AK does more damage. I was only trying to give the man some info that he may find useful, these videos don't really reference the stats according to the game. I should have clarified which stats though.

@DeDuniel1 give it a chance on PC, and give time to get use to mouse-aim (and customise controls, like r-click for melee). The lower lag from dedicated servers helps as I'm pretty sure high latency favours stationary more than those advancing.

Center speed is how quickly the weapons kick resets after each shot. The higher the value, the quicker the gun resets.

Using the Supressor with Ghost is ok in my opinion as long as you don't camp, but instead try to sneak up on the enemies.

I admit, my favorite class setup with the Galil is Ghost, Warlord, and Ninja. I warlord the suppressor and dual mags, but at least I'm not big on camping. I use Ninja cause I use a headset and my own footsteps are too much of a nuisance. And I know the 3 hit kill range is reduced with the suppressor, but it's still plenty far enough for me since I still prefer run and gunning.

@DeDuniel1 I'm VERY mixed about Blops. Parts I love, others parts I hate. IMHO: it has all the signs of a great game rushed out a year too early with half baked ideas. I like how they scaled back the kill-streaks but I think they could go further, we don't need such powerful killstreaks! They are a distraction.

The suppressor/silencer should be the exact opposite of stopping power and decrease damage to all assault rifles instead of just decreasing range. That would balance the friggin attachment...

So you said you don't like people who use ghost + suppressor. How do you feel about those who use it with a run and gun playstyle? Personally I like it because I LOVE to flank...and never showing up on radar helps me do so. I'm not a camper in the slightest, but I use ghost on every class. Do you consider that tolerable? Just wondering your opinion. Great review :) Loved the "Gommand-field 47".

I don't like the Galil with silencer either. I feel it adds recoil IMO. I think I know what gun u were talking bout when u reviewed the Galil with IR scope. Enfield? bcus the recoil pattern doesn't change when IR is attached.

surely the supressor + galil is better than any other assault rifle precisely because of the extra ammo. you get extra ammo, and need it on supressed classes as you generally stay alive longer, and also need more ammo to take down opponents.

@Treblaine i really did make the mistake to buy Blops for the console, first and last FPS i won´t buy for the PC. Yet, corner campers are the bane of any FPS i played, be it on PC or console and Blops encourages a too defensive playstyle.

@Treblaine Checking the normal pathways isn´t a problem, it´s part of the progress called "aiming". But if you ask from me to check every little rathole, bush, dead end and whatever to make sure noone shoots a rocket at my ass it´s no fun and extremely unsatisfying.
