The difference between combination or permutation in this context is who vs where. Combination will be this comp but you don't mind where the druid plays (tank(bear) or feral(cat)). Where as a permutation would be where the druid plays so for example if you said we specifically NEED a druid tank.

He's completely off about hunter being bad though. BM has some of the best ST damage out there and can achieve it much easier than harder to play classes. MM has insane burst aor if needed as well.

A raid buff provides a small benefit to every member of the raid. Even a small buff, when given to 20 people, is REALLY good.

Tommy is correct, but also there are just about 13 raid buffs. Each one is small individually, but all together every character in the raid is significantly more powerful than they are without them.

Take chaos brand for example, 3% magic damage doesn’t sound like a lot but take all your magic damage in the entire raid, which is like 80% of the damage of a typical raid comp, would equal to about an extra dps.

DK players appreciate anytime it is pointed out that Death grip doesn’t do anything in a raid. In all of Dragonflight Death Grip was only really powerful on Zskarn. That’s literally it. Tired of everyone pretending you ever bring a DK for anything other than Gorefiends Grasp or doing good damage. That said, Death Grip is pretty good on Silken Court, but again, like always, Blood DK can handle that on its own.

It's mostly on the evokers but pressing cooldowns at consistent times as the non-evokers will help if you're not going to pre-plan it all with them!

it's not like this for most mythic guilds, usually only gets like this as you approach top 200. I play in a low-end CE guild and we just let everyone play what they want as long as we get all the raid buffs we need and everyone's happy and we got CE every tier of Dragonflight

Just to be clear I don't think any team will go completely hunterless for a fight but hunters mark could have several things done to it in its current iteration to provide more value without being OP.

I quit playing all of Dragonflight and don't plan to get back into Mythic raiding this xpac, but as a Hunter I honestly don't know what's worse; not having a raid buff and begging for one for years, or finally getting one and knowing it's emminently droppable and rarely if ever factors into your raid spot.

1 boss starts at 80% HP, making the buff useless. And another boss is a council of 2 that shares a health pool, so your Mark is halved if you don't have 2 hunters.

@@bravexheart7 not in most places. the arcane nerf was small relatively speaking. not enough to get frost to surpass arcane. if you're talking m+ in low - mid keys. or keys where you may be kiting then you're probably right. but the 45s and 1.5m burst on arcane in any keys where you get that every pull. . exceeds frost. unless your tank needs the slows to kite. I play both, arcane is definitely the stronger of the 2 once you know how to play it. but it's AoE is less forgiving than frost, spread out more and harder to execute (more steps). but stronger once done correctly.

Why mm hunter when bm and sv are better? Mm has more burst damage but other than that isn't as good as either of the other two. BMs st is wayyyyy better than MM

Because BM’s aoe is beans and a lot of fights need cleave, and ranged is just better than melee 9/10 times in raid
