Great content and appreciate it. I do disagree about the raiders taking Jalen Carter instead of tyree. As an organisation they couldn't take carter due to his car racing issue from college and the Henry ruggs situation. Too much risk having him Vegas. I think he would have been off telescos draft board due to that.

I get the idea, but you'd think after a situation like that, you'd hope someone would learn from it. So far seems like he's stayed out of trouble.. gotta talk to the kids first man. We can always find a starter at CB even though I liked he idea of Arnold or Fuaga. As far as Glaze, from his tape he looked more comfortable at RT. I understand if you are at a smaller school it’s better to be a LT to showcase your skills. He is a big dude and if he can respond to the coaching like the staff seems to think he can, than LFG. Also, love the Taylor, Lauabe and Eichenberg picks as well. Obviously JPJ is a beast and if Richardon and Devonshire can contribute. Look out. LFG….

@KennyP999417 ай бұрын
3rd round picks are developmental guys. Raiders fans expect every draft pick to start because our roster has been sp bad for decades. Maybe 1 or 2 third round picks start week one. A couple wind up creating due to injury. What you are hoping for is a third round pick to start in two years.
@matteomclaughlin40907 ай бұрын
@@KennyP99941not necessarily at all, yes most won’t start week 1 but most strive for 3rd rounders to start at some point in the first season, Crosby was a fourth rounder and started half way through when he could’ve started week 1. Nate Hobbs started week 1 as a 5th rounder, cowboys 3rd round DT osa started week 1 as well. Same with the chiefs left tackle last year he was a 3rd rounder as well
@KennyP999417 ай бұрын
@@matteomclaughlin4090 You are using examples from the Raiders. The Raiders have had one of the worst rosters in the NFL for close to two decades. The Chiefs left tackle last year was Donovan Smith, he was the Bucs starting LT for 5 year. This year Wayna Morris is the Chiefs staring LT and he was a third round pick last year and didn't play a game as a third round pick last year. Last year three 3rd round picks started more than half the games. Jake moody a kicker and Mike Wilson a WR and Josh Downs a WR. Tank Dell started 8 and broke his leg, he would have been four. It's entirely possible someone was starter from week one and got hurt. My best guess would be Tank Dell was the only one last year. So 1 out of 39 was a day one starter, non kicker. A handful of guys started between 4-8 games. Chances are they could have won the job late but most likely it was due to injury. The best chance of starting is drafting a receiver.

I always like to mock a defense first and an offense first draft. They wanted to go offense and got two steals. My thinking about defense first was that we could trade down in R1 and still get a top CB plus another good pick. In R2 we could have had Edgerrin Cooper, Tyler Nubbin or an EDGE guy. I know some of you are delusional every year and think every year we are going to make the playoffs maybe the SB. But it time you all grow up and stop with the BS. Look right now we have no starting QB, and a stacked roster that needs one. If we try to compete this year we we ruin all chances of ever drafting a franchise QB. I myself after 50 plus years would really like to see the Raiders get that QB and not have to trade away all our future picks to do so. I would also like to see us stop taking other teams trash whether it be coaches or players. It would be nice for us to tank and get that QB and build a dynasty for years to come. Screw one winning season that is followed by a decade or more of losing. I want us to have several more SB rings not just 1 season of making the playoffs. So stop with the BS. We are no better now then we were last year other than we no longer have McDaniels to screw us worse. The best thing the Raiders can do is tank this season get the #1 pick and get the best QB available next year whoever it is. The AP would have his franchise QB and a built up roster to compete with. Just FYI Minshew has been the transitional or tanking QB before. He is not a starter, and O'Connell is not "The Man" that can lead an offense. Looks like a tank to me.

That pick will not get us a franchise QB. Not unless we tank or trade for one. Call me names all you want. I am not some delusional idiot who thinks we can win with 2 backup QB's. I just pointed out AP has a 3 year contract. If he and Davis have an understanding then a tank would be beneficial for us. AP would get a #1 pick in each round of next years draft. AP would then have his QB, and a stacked roster for him to walk into to with 2 years left on his contract. Think what you want I just used logic and came to what makes the most sense. Minshew if you look at his career so far, has been a transitional QB for teams. He has been used to backup a rookie or tanking for a rookie QB draft pick. O'Connell from all that I have seen is not a leader and is not a starter. Another year or 2 and he might develop into one. So call me names and talk all the trash you want.
