Cool effort. Hey did you know that this movie plagiarized lots of elements of the Donald Duck/Scrooge adventure 'Seven cities of Cibola' , including idols in temples and giant rolling stone balls. I still have the comic from my teens, some 45 years ago. It is a bit scary how some of the blockbuster movies were build from Uncle Scrooge adventures. Including 'Inception' where the original comic had the Beagle Boys entering multiple, nested, levels of Scrooges dreams to get his money bin combination. They even had tipping backwards into water as wakeup triggers and long lost loves of Scrooge buried in dreams. More importantly, I have a new mission for you. The 1990 movie Spotswood with Anthony Hopkins, Ben Mehndelson, Russell crow and Toni Collette. The original moccasin factory is a shed that's still out the back of Science Works where Mad Max 1 was filmed. The car factory in the movie where the union protests were filmed is the front of the old GM factory in Assembly Drive, Dandenong. The factory and gatehouse are gone, but the original GM streetlights visible in the movie are still there. I was able to do some search comparisons just using Google Street view. A prime candidate for a fellow of your talents... Cheers.

Yeah Spotswood is on my list. Hopefully this pandemic ends one day. Google Earth is definitely helpful when you can't go more than 5km from your house.

@@PaulHagl Yep, its the travel holiday you take when you can't take a travel holiday. I'm fortunate to be just a few km the other side of the covid curtain and got a bit of freedom back, but we're not there yet. On Spotswood, early pictures of the Dandenong GM plant are really hard to find, but here's a useful clue for you. www.heritage.vic.gov.au/__data/assets/pdf_file/0026/61487/Post_war_study_Stage1_Vol2_manufacturing.pdf Scroll about halfway down and you can see the very gatehouse that featured in the movie. I checked out your On the Beach clip yesterday. Some great work there. Well done. Left some comments about Neville Shute. I'm looking forward to your next production. Cheers.
