From what I recall from last year when Sincere McCormick got his first shot in the NFL he was fast on his feet but seemed to lack the beef, now that he’s been training hard over the last 2 seasons he’s now built for what we have seen the last couple of games. Yes the Oline has improved drastically since the coaching changes, which has helped both the QB & RB play

I totally agree with you Sanjit. I was wondering the same thing regarding Sincere McCormick, AP mentioned his productivity on the practice squad. I was wondering what took so long to play him. It is amazing how much better the offense looks under the new OC.. I really hope that they can find a way to keep the staff in place and build on the future. We will see. Thanks man

If Aidan is going to break out I hope it's now because he's never had a legit shot and I don't want him to miss out on this opportunity. He'll be great somewhere. Hopefully we don't miss on him. Aidan is much more comfortable now, also the playbook has obviously opened up for him. I have mixed emotions at this point? Win or don't win. We're always going for the win.

It's not just getting a franchise QB for the future, but the draft position in the following rounds as well. If the Raiders end up winning say 3 or so games, then their second to seventh round draft positions get worse and that could mean getting lower valued players. There's no point in actually winning aside from a slight morale boost that means nothing at this point in the season, but playing to look good without winning while also fielding younger players to see what they can do. This imo is the best course of action now. 5 more games with a similar result to the KC game where the team plays their heart out and we get to see what we didn't expect out of guys like AOC, Laulu, and McCormick as well as the Turners heading the offense but still lose to keep our draft position as high as possible.

McCormick has played pretty good. Hopefully he can be the 3rd down back moving forward allowing us to move on from Abdullah. His play should not prevent us from drafting an every down back in this upcoming draft. This is a very deep running back class with a lot of talent.

I'd even go as far to trade Zamir or cut him if the team is really willing to fully convert to zone next season. Zamir has been absolutely terrible in zone. I do agree, next year's class has a lot of good RBs to pick up, Raiders would be foolish not to get one.

Kolton Miller and JPJ has to do a better job in making the RB more aware of what's coming. Hard to judge #28 based on what I saw. JPJ pointed to the wrong guy at one point, and $74 let #28 get hammered by releasing too early on another play. Those two have to play great, because rest of our OL is somewhere between backups to servicable to trash (talking to you Dylan Parham)

Aiden has limitations. Unless he can show more mobility in the pocket in key situations and running for a first down on 3rd and short, I think he is a high quality back up. He needs to extend plays and that does not mean run the ball alot.

I think the reason why Sincere McCormick, wasn’t getting reps until now is because Antonio Pierce gets his eyes set on a player, that’s it. It’s hard for him to change his mind, which is cool for that player, but not very good for the team. I thought very highly of Zamir White. Why?? I have no clue, the guy has zero vision and has been like that since he got out of college. I know Graph has been singing Sincere McCormicks praises for two years now, he finally got a chance and took advantage of it. He deserves to be the starting running back. Hopefully Antonio Pierce can learn from this and pull the trigger a little sooner with his players in the future.

You know Olines far better than me Sanjit, but with Philbin as the Oline coach, his specialization is power specifically is it not? I don't know if it's ideal to go to back zone when it's been hurting the run game as much as it did this season. Next season maybe under a different set of coaches, then yeah go zone, but for now stick to power/gap and do what you can with it.

Listen Aidan has to be the guy. Period. Raiders must 100% NOT draft a QB in the first round: Understand this, the Raiders have not developed a star QB successfully since Ken Stabler. The fan dumbnation has to stop. There is zero reason to believe Raiders are not dysfunctional and can develop a QB. Adam’s trade and failure to resign Mack and Jacobs are proof. Aidan is more than good enough and willed enough to win with reps and Scott Turner and a supporting cast. Plus he won’t need $80m/year. Likely we’ll have #1 pick because I don’t see any teams we can beat on the schedule. We must trade down and get supporting cast. E.g. McMillan, Campbell, Jeanty,, Mason, etc. IE Playmakers.
