Would be nice if one the changes they spoke about during blizzcon was implementing a retail style flex raid system that would allow for scaling raid difficuly between 10 and 30 players. This could potentially avoid death of 25man guilds that happened in og cata

All I am looking for in Cata is being able to raid in a 10 man group and still being able to have a decent difficulty and loot. Organizing a 25 man raid group is such a hassle that I just can't be bothered anymore.

@klabauterbaer you should play FF14, there all difficulties raids are 8 men and the way the mechanics are showed and how the fights are, they are not simple tank and spank, if you have a group of friends then is perfect, there is called a Static group for raiding, if you are in a guild for example there, they kind of split in several static groups where the people set up each week at least a day to meet and have 3 hours or more of raiding, Wow raiding is very messy compared to FF14

things i wish blizzard would implement for raiding: 1) flex raiding - saves the roster boss problem altogether 2) let you run the raid multiple times but only get loot from 1 kill, in retail this was handled with personal loot and has the handy additiion of basically stopping GDKPs since you couldn't trade loot that was an upgrade and it let you start with a fresh run if you only had 1-2 bosses down. but if people get whiny about doing that..... 3) split the normal and heroic lock outs, you can do normal (10 or 25) 1/week and heroic (10 or 25) 1/week i'd like both 2 and 3 to be done, but i get a lot of people would have issue with letting someone fill a slot when they have already cleared it. personally i'd use it to hellp out other guild groups if they lose someone, then you can someone from another run who's already cleared it join in and help if someone's internet shits itself.

@@ruben_m4561 possibly, one thing i've noticed is that there seem to be an over abundance of tanks for 25 man raids. because blizzard sucks at scaling. 1 tank per 5 needed for dungeons, 2 tanks (sometimes 3) for 25 players. we seem to wind up in the middle ground where there always seem to be a few tanks left over. my guild has a requirement that any tanks beyond our 2 standard tanks must have a dps set because of this. and then we rotate when we need 3 tanks or if one of the tanks wants an off night.

If I complete the raid, can I go back and run it again with friends and just not get loot? I just want to do the raid 6+ times a week on my one main toon

I honestly think the trial of the crusader changes were unnecessary. normal mode TOC is completly dead, since you cant go into heroic. So everyone keeps their lockout and one day before reset go in with a crappy group or not at all.

not related to lockouts but im pretty sure cata was when they implemented the brez nerf. Also lockouts are so stupid. Just remove them completely!
