@@RaifDerrazi it was a pleasure. So much has happened since we did the podcast together. Just being able to talk about things I concealed for so long due to fear and shame has been such a liberating experience. I really appreciate the help you’ve given me through your videos and if there’s anything I can do for you in the future I’m here for you. You have a friend for life brother.

This is an essential video as part of the process to destigmatise HIV A lot people in the health systems haven’t a good understanding of sexuality and medication. When I asked my GP for PreP, he said he wasn’t familiar with it. We looked up the protocols on the internet. He ultimately said it was too compplicated and referred me to the sexual health clinic associated with the major hospital for our area.

Peter used protection and contracted the virus, the same thing happened to me. I was taking PrEP but caught the bug because I got careless and didn't take it properly (not everyday). More info should be available on the need to use these drugs correctly.

FlavioMarceloSousa, are you from Sosua Dominican Republic? Peter was not clear about how he protected himself. He says he protected himself but doesn't elaborate. Sex & Drugs is the combo that leads to not being careful.

@@sJ-ls8pwPeter said in this video that he contracted it through having sex USING a condom, which goes to show a condom isn’t 100% safe. You can use a condom (as well as your partner) and still get AIDS by ingesting their bodily fluids, getting their bodily fluids in your eye or other parts of your body that contain epithelial tissue or lined with mucosa.

I wonder how he contracted the virus of he wore a condom. Did the condom break or was part of his skin expose ? Asking for awareness
