You're welcome. And coincidentally i have come across many people of Asian whakapapa pronouncing te reo properly. For example my flatmates and work mates. Gisbornes previous mayor Meng Foon is also good at speaking maori in fact he is fluent in te reo. Safe travels whanau, arohanui ❤
@PeterandYen4 жыл бұрын
Ooo yea we've heard about him! That's really cool 🥰 interesting that Asians seem to be able to pronounce te reo decently! I wonder why that is... I know that te reo has pretty similar sounds with Japanese (especially the vowels) even though when you hear Japanese spoken it might not seem that way! Maybe it's also coz quite a few Asian languages has "Ng" sounds too but yea not sure otherwise 😆 Arohanui and Meri Kirihimete! 🎄🙂❤️👋

i agree with pete, Yen you're the only person scared of fish hahha wooooow this looks like such an awesome experience!! We touched some in Osaka and it's soooo wierd and slimey. The railbike ride is soooo unique. aaaw we will have to wait for the boys to get bigger before we can enjoy that. Vegemite and chips WTF!!!! what flavour chips were they too? Great idea to use the rails like that.

Hahahaha what? You never had vegemite and chips? Surely that's an aussie thing too right? No just us kiwis indulging in those flavors? 😂 try it out its delicious. Make sure they're chicken chips though. Surprisingly according to a few comments on here there are quite a few ppl scared of em fishes 😅 wouldn't have guessed that

2:30 hello! Stingray! Omg it's so cute. I (hyekyong) always remember them as a smily face fish based on what I saw in aquariums 😅 It's first time to see them this close ! I would be super excited.

They really do feel like puppies of the sea, curious always hungry and very friendly 😍

omg I am the same Yen! When I went to Raro and did the snorkling, I literally had to hype myself up to jump in, but once I was in, I was fine. That is so cool that you get to see the stingrays without fully getting in the water, esp at this time of the year. WOW, so cool! That raik bike looked awesome! I may need an ebike though, super unfit!
@PeterandYen4 жыл бұрын
Aww good on you! That is super brave!! 💕💕 It was really cool getting to interact with the stingrays out in their own natural environment. Great experience and railbikes was super cool too! Hahaha no shame in getting the ebikes 😁👍💕 Def an awesome activity to try out and ebikes would be nice and cruisy for sure ✌️🚲🚲🛤️

What an awesome few days. The view was amazing on the rail bikes. Peter, next time add the chips just before you eat the sandwich. You have to carry it separately but worth it. 🤣

Wow you got to pat the stingray! That’s so cool. Awesome activities you guys did. Never seen a bike ride like that before either! Didn’t know any of these things existed, the only time I visited Gisbourne was for RnV 😅 We were thinking of coming home this year but it seems not possible so it’s nice to show Carlos NZ through your eyes ☺️
@PeterandYen4 жыл бұрын
If you stay permanently you might be able to get a waiver on that $3000 Quarantine bill 😅 RnV 😅 gisborne surprised us with the different unique activities you can do there. We only just scratched the surface there's a bunch of awesome things that are more summer appropriate too 😎
