Another great video with plenty to enjoy. I had to laugh at the "grunge bees" mobbing Dane's t shirt :) The church pub is a brilliant but quirky idea, so no wonder you enjoyed it so much. When Stacey says "we're powering" at 8:34 it reminded me of my other half who often resorts to "power" movements with her arms when we go on our long walks. I always laugh when she does this, especially when one time an old lady walking towards us thought my missus was waving to her and waved back in a very friendly way :)

I've been to the Free House Pub - I was staying at a hostel near the Cathedral and one of my roomies was a semi-local so off we went one evening. The ales change regularly depending on which brewer provides stock. I can't remember what I had but we went out into the "garden out back" .... I did other things in Nelson including walking in depth around the park adjacent to the Suter Gallery (did over the gallery as well) and then went out to stay with some friends beyond the Mot.

Spent a month in SI, had no real plan other than one way flight to Queenstown and 5nights accommodation. I was kinda going further south but saw an advert for A&P show in Wanaka, which was something not done for decades... travelled around on shuttles or Intercity - stayed in mainly YHA. Met lots of young people from all over the world. I wasn't sure if some costs, but when I returned home, I wasn't broke... I had hoped to go back in March 2020 but you both know why not! But I did do more of NI in September 2019: Rotorua, whanganui, New Plymouth. Still in hostels but realized I could have single rooms Which meant no snoring or squeaky bunks or people unzipping backpacks at sparrows dawn!
