Over spring break I took a pair of trips up to Tehachapi to fill some holes on a narrated documentary I've been working on for the better part of a decade (more on that in an announcement/preview video I'll be posting in the next few months!) and the area around Cliff was the main target. I wound up driving back to Tunnel 5 on both ends and caught a number of trains passing through the tunnel in amazing light, but that's not the only location I focused on! Bakersfield (with a San Joaquin Valley Railroad train from Arvin led by one of their new Knoxville engines), track work at Magunden, plenty of meets, and a UP crew from Mojave attaching themselves to a loaded coal train at Ansel are just a few of the amazing catches I made on this trip!
