I would guess there are around 20-25 trains a day on CP including Amtrak, and maybe slightly fewer on CN. The diamonds themselves are off-limits, but the location I was filming at is fine, as are grade crossings on CN to the north and south. Brookfield, which is the start of directional running towards Milwaukee, is just to the east on CP and has an old depot between the tracks- it's also a good spot.

I would say it's now flip-flopped, as CN traffic has increased a lot, and is expected to keep growing

CP has 25 plus 2 Amtrak, and CN has 28

This is on my list of possible places to visit. Any estimates of hourly or daily train counts? Are the diamonds proper off limits?
