Usually, they would bypass all stations from GCT, all the way up to Southeast, and start service to Wassaic once it reaches Southeast.

Im not used to seeing BL20GHs going so fast. That’s because they have them here on the Staten Island railway too, and they never go that speed

Yep Thru trains do. Shuttles go to Southeast; change there for GCT.
