Too bad 👎, this could not be presented to my mom, when she was dying 😢 of cancer. We didn't live right near the railroad. This locomotive sounds 👌 much like a broken tractor 🚜, in need of a major overhaul, or a tune up. It's actually very interesting. I've never heard of a locomotive 🚂 quite alike. Just subbed!! Dang, this brings back memories. I retired from Wabtec (GE) three years ago after almost 15 years as the Test Cell Engineer at the Grove City Diesel Engine plant. Listened to EVO's in "skip fire" for countless hours without even noticing. Now it sounds wonderful. Definitely miss the people and the fun of testing big diesel engines. Don't miss the stress.

That's because the ringing bell doesn't always ring while it's idling. That's typically to let you know that your second motor is auto start up/shut down. This one was a single motor when recorded, so no extra motor to trip alarm.
