Railroad Crossings part 1!

One of the most viewed railroad crossing videos on youtube! Footage of a lot of different types of railroad crossings around Beaverton and Portland, Oregon.
Crossing #1: Type 2 E-bell
Crossing #2: Type 1 Speaker E-bell
Crossing #3: Mechanical Bell
The rest of the bells are all WCH Type 1.5 electronics, my favorite kind of bell. And one of the gates can fold right in half as it opens and retracts! It was designed this way so it could operate under a bridge without hitting the low clearance.

This is really trippy...I love it!! And I was born in Portland and lived in Beaverton for a while, so this brings back great memories. Loved the retractable gate, and how there was a signaler holding a stop sign in front of a crossing!! :)

@Jesse Darwich I know it's hinged ;) I can see that ;) . We just don't have barriers like that in the Netherlands (and apparently, I did not see one until 11 years ago ;) ) Only garage-parkings in the Netherlands have 'm to accomodate the 2 meter (or so) clearance from floor to ceiling. But they only hinge 90 degrees and are only 2 meter long or something, not something like this.
