A good development idea, if the developers created an NPC you can higher and asign to loading and unloading platforms, all they do is just raise a flag to notify you when to stop in the right place, that would be neat When unloading the could do a check if the wagon has cargo, if have cargo is it the right cargo, and another check when it's in front, to put up the flag. And if any of the checks is wrong, and put the flag down. You'll still have to go and load & unload. Anyways that's my thoughts (2c) 😉

nice short video for a very short distance to deliver. What I do now that you have tools and pipes stocked, bring 36 beams, I know it only holds 20, but it will use the first 18 before you can unload the second batch of 18 beams. Then you do the same thing with the pipes, bring 36, and since you have 18 beams in storage, it will use the first 18 pipes, and then you store the next 18 pipes. The drawbars have not been fixed, maybe next update. Do not bring your groundwork up and encase the ties. You will then have a hit box from the ground work that may interferes with the hitbox for the rail. Down the road I do hope they add ballast, to be added between the ties, as in real life.

Back 100 or so years ago, before the advent of steel derricks, timber ones were used for the initial drilling of, and remained in place over the well for servicing afterwards. Now days they remove the rig after the well is drilled and cased to total depth and use a service rig and snubbing unit to place production string inside the casing. Drilling rigs come apart in 6 major pieces -The derrick and carrier, subfloor, doghouse and water tank, mud pump and tank, and the combo shack which houses the hydraulic accumulator for the BOP, a generator of some kind for lighting and power and a mechanical room with diesel tank for the motors on the rig. It all comes apart and goes back together like giant pieces of industrial lego. If the well needs to be serviced now, a service rig comes back and does whatever work is required, from pump and rod changes to production tubing changes to total abandonments.

I'd be happy with a spotter notice for unloading cars is all I am totally cool with everything else in game. I'm cool with doing all my own loading just need a spotter notice for unloading and loading. Glad your happier with the mogul now I did not even see a notice for a new update personally had to look after you mentioned it.

So it's 2 cars of pipes, 6 of beams, and however many you want of tools. I only just finished my track to the coal mine. I haven't had time to run it yet, and I still need to finish the track from the coal mine to the iron works.

I know it may not happen for a while if not ever, but I wish they would added a 3ft gauge 1910s Baldwin 4-6-0. Just like the ones used on the East Tennessee and Western North Carolina Railroad. I have ridden in the cab of the class’ only survivor twice now. ET&WNC #12 more well known as Tweetsie.

I'm actually not a fan of Blue Wizard's RRO play style. I prefer my tracks to be as realistic as possible. After watching a few of his videos, to get ideas, I found that I prefer more of a "realistic" view and feel to my railroad. Kan Gaming is pretty good. I've watched almost all his videos. And of course, Kerbo is awesome!

I built a 3 track yard at the oil field after the pipe drop off. One through track, one for beams and one for pipes. Not a fan of the low storage capacities at the industries.

I have watched several people play and one thing they all have in common is very minimal yard work. They all run one train with a singular goal for each journey, fill one location with everything it needs. Not seeing much for circuits, basically running a big circle dropping off full cars while picking up empties at every location. I would like to see some multiplayer colabs in the future with at least one person per location working each yard calling in product as needed.

Sorry for the late response, it's been a busy week. There is no auto-save, at least not when I was playing, so you have to manually save before quitting. I tried to get in the habit of saving every 15-20 minutes so I wouldn't lose too much progress if the game crashed or something happened.

Hopefully they'll change it. Seems like they're trying to force people to run with smaller trains. But rule #1 of sandbox games is "don't tell people how to play".

I think its more trying to encourage people to build shunt yards to store the extra. Then you have the smaller engines feed the industry and prep empties along with cars full of product to send off when the big train comes through again.

There is something wrong with my dislike button, Kerbo. I have the sad message for you, that my "bring the dislike back" addon shows 16000 dislike to your clip. And this is why you should not remove this function and then half a million KZbin creators throw themselves from their i7 tower into certain death. Can KZbin be made responsible for all the dead creators that are lying dead in front of their towers now? SIXTEENTHOUSAND! How did you do that?!
