The soup came out so good that I have no words to describe the taste, was tired of making soup from canned Cambell tomato soup. Never could get it to taste Indian style. I made this soup tonight for dinner. I followed your recipe almost to the T....only change I made was to add dark jaggery instead of sugar. At the last moment I forgot to add butter but ate the soup with some home made croutons. It came out oh so well chef. And I paired it with a Korean green salad (sangchu geotjeori) which also I kept very close to the recipe I saw on some Korean sites on youtube, except for using different salad leaves in place of Korean salad leaves. The result was a very nice and lip smacking pair of dishes which went well together actually. Am saving this recipe for future. Thanks as always chef.

Watching your videos is so relaxing and calming to me. And this easy rwcipe will cwrtqinly come put well of that i am sure. This soup is very close to South style Tomato rasam. (We make it without dal). Instead of dhania powder and chilli powder i add rasam powder which contains all these. But i have never added cardamom so i must add it. And i know some friends who make tomato - beetroot rasam but i havent tried so i must add beet. So its next on my menu - not rasam but tomato soup YFL style. 😂 Thank you again Chef Sanjyot.
