I never shared it but I wrote a story with Husk as an overload that doesn’t give two shits about territory wars. I tried to keep him in character with what little I saw from the Hazbin Hotel pilot so naturally he’s a pessimistic asshole that doesn’t give two shits about anything or anyone. Once he met Angel I made him slowly realize over time that he finally found someone he’d literally fight Lucifer to protect.

I gotta know Huskerdust or Radiodust I personally like huskerdust more only because Alastor is legitimately too fuckin crazy to love anyone, at least unless they were as nuts as he is. Husk said in the pilot that he lost the ability to loves a long time ago but he's just a sad old drunk with a heart of stone who probably hasn't had anyone to love or anyone to love him since BEFORE he died, and he died 60 years ago. He probably just needs someone to get that stone heart to soften up a bit. Alastor on the other hand, unless someone could pick that brain of his, i don't see him loving anyone.

I had similar thoughts when I was trying to understand my s. orientation. I'll give you an example that helped me figure it out. Let's say you like spicy Chinese noodles and waffles with syrup. You may want to eat both in one day. Or you may want to eat only noodles. But you still like waffles, you just don't want them that day. And that's fine.
