@@irondragon3430 Tempest as well Deathbringer were victims of the war in their own ways, Deathbringer being a child soldier who was brainwashed to follow his orders no matter what Ultimately the ones responsible for Tempests death were the nightwings who gave the assassination order. Quickstrikes death was a very unlucky coincidence and byproduct of both the lightning strike and hands of sandwings Tl,dr: Irrelevant, Deathbringers situation is way too complex to say his mother's death was "karma" lol

Personally I read 'em after the first arc. They don't really provide crucial information and are more there to provide extra characterization, so imo its better to read each after youre familiar with the main character
