The dreaded question: where did you get your pot, and even more important the portable fire pit!? I think I must have one of those!!
@TheWoodsyWoman9 ай бұрын
Hi there! Thanks for the questions. I got my pot and portable fire pit off of Amazon. I have a link to my store in the description of the video to help you find it easier! Let me know if you have any troubles. Cheers!

@@TheWoodsyWoman the reviews are mixed on the portable fire pit, what is your take after multiple uses?
@TheWoodsyWoman8 ай бұрын
I haven’t had it long enough to speak to the longevity of it. I do like the ease of setup and tear down. I wouldn’t expect this to last longer than a year or two. I must admit, I don’t clean it out between uses… it may last a long time if you do clean it out. I don’t regret the purchase. It’s a handy tool to have in the backpack 😉

I knew I was going to enjoy your videos after watching the one of the tour of the truck. I love a nice peaceful rainy day in the woods. I enjoy sitting in shelter houses in the parks when it's storming too. Hehe perfect rainy day for a nice hike. Oh cool, lynx. I've never seen one. I plan to stop in and talk to rangers when I go to the states I'm not familiar with so I will know what critters I may run across. I'm used to Indiana and Kentucky and know what to expect. Oh, you're the first person I get to share this with....I just got back from picking up a Coleman foldable oven! Hehe I'm excited. I got a great deal so I'm even happier. Oh, I will check to see if you have a link for your grill, love it! Hmm I know I subscribed the other day but I wasn't. I've heard it happens to others. Glad I checked. Happy trails!

Awe, thanks for such kind words. It makes my heart happy to read what you wrote. And how fun!… a coleman foldable oven! I don’t have links up yet for my gear but it’s in the list and I’ll get them up soon. Thanks so much for being here!!

Starting my car life journey at the end of this month so, just like you, I've been watching tons of videos and doing research so I'm a prepared as possible. You just helped me find my backpack as well as provided a simple yet beautiful video that I know took more effort than it looked like. Much love and appreciation for the heart you put into it 😄 #NewSub

I LOVE the woods, and one of the reasons for coming back home. However, the question of the day is this: where did you go to school in the Cheese Head State? I';m many years older than you, but I went to Indiana State, and definitely played softball and field hockey all through the Midwest.I loved it out there and the people, it will always be my second home. Thanks for sharing!

Hi! Thanks for being here. I did one year of graduate school in Wisconsin. I was actually stationed at a summer camp as the campus up near Eagle Lake. It’s beautiful up there!!

Hi. What do you use so you don't get lost in the woods? Compass or GPS or maps or you already know the area . Tips for someone who would love to do the same? Thanks 😊
@TheWoodsyWoman9 ай бұрын
Hi there! I’ve used a mixture over the year. If I really don’t know a place and gps is accessible, I find that to be the easiest. If it’s a multi day hike, certainly a compass. If it’s a short hike, I can get my barring by landmarks (trees, rocks, etc). Happy trails to you!
