Looks like Velux could do with some feedback on that design. I don't see why those flanges couldn't be vertical on the inside face as it would be easier to detail with with plasterboard internally than have to recess insulation here.

Fantastic attention to detail, I couldn't help but notice you are still using Zinsser B.I.N despite I mentioned before you are potentially asking for trouble as it's not designed to be used the way you use it externally I'm afraid. I know it's a very convenient paint to use but you would be better served with Zinsser coverstain or better still Tikkurila otex. Hopefully you won't take offence as I know you are always striving for perfection with all aspects of your builds. ATB Marcus

In my opinion Resitrx is only as good as the man putting it down 😬 have had a lot of problems with it when bonded to concrete!!it it just doesn’t stick , and if you don’t get the bleed right then forget it. But I am sure Will is on it 😉

Tbf that's the same as most systems, I'm pretty much only replacing failed GRP flat roofs ATM, for some reason no-one down here wants to use expansion gaps 🤦...
