How is this song prophetic? I see different things from the 80’s ( Reagan, Ayatollah, 3 Mile Island,) but how does that tie into the current time ?
@cyan.63998 ай бұрын
@@stluciestrength univesral constant of this earth is that there's always people in high places causing shit under the public's noses with massive consequences (conquest, poverty war etc), which is the theme of the song. right when you think the dust settles, new tech or political spaghetti surfaces and gives everyone a headache again. but it's always _new_, which leaves a lot of people in denial that it could be possible in the first place

as a rainbow,,deep purple Uber fan..I thought joe lynn was the perfect fit for rainbow,,dio and blackmore were an accident waiting to happen.you can't have two strong personalities like that in the same room,let alone band..graham bonnet had a great voice, but between his disco boy stage persona and his love for the bottle, "difficult to cure," was his only outing, joe lynn turner definitely was the best fit for them.his amazing voice,,songwriting abilities and powerful stage persona were just what Dr. blackmore ordered...and yes,roger glover always brought out the best in ritchie,with his spot on great but not too busy bass playing and willingness to always give Ritchie plenty of room to be ritchie ..it wasn't for no good reason no other played bass for rainbow..in the case of deep purple,,ritchie couldn't stand rod evans,who's secret desire to be tom jones was too evident,ian gillian worked out for a long time until he became a pain in the ass...david coverdale and glenn hughes.did the herculean job of replacing gillian and roger glover,,,but by the time they did "stormbringer" ritchie tired of the funky direction the band was taking ,due to glenn hughes desire to be larry graham ,declared their music to be "shoeshine music" and bailed ..they got Uber monster guitarist tommy bolin to fill his shoes and boy did he...tommy's amazing bluesy,fusiony fret burning guitar work made " come taste the band' an amazing album loaded with great music played brilliantly....but with tommy's empire state building sized dope habit interfering with shows and his ability to play..he od'd and that was that...
