I would like to note that AI can in fact be used to do a lot of the model creation and animating in 3d animation. There is a program called Meshy that creates models for you, there are programs where all you need to do is input motion capture footage and info and AI will do all the animation. It's so gross and I bet you they are using that stuff for the 3D animation, but they are showing the BTS stuff to make people believe they are doing more than they are. There were no credits, there is nothing saying they didnt use AI for everything. If they used it for the horrible 2d images and the music, why would they stop there? Overall it's vile. Fresh Beats and the Fresh doll line was trying to make a difference in the doll space, then they do something like this and just.... There's no way they didn't know how immoral this was. How scummy this was to do. Absolutely no way. Bet they used it to write the script too. EDIT: I just looked up composition media, the company that does the animation and the wording on their website screams "we use AI but are going to make it sound vague so we dont get called out for it"

So the character is supposed to be nonbinary. On Beignet's box it says they use they/them pronouns. This goes to show that this whole little series is cheap garbage since they have no character consistency. And the AI is really bad. At some moments she looked actually like Sabrina St. Cloud, even her outfit looked like Sabrina’s second outfit. And some poses she struck during the episode looked actually like Sabrina’s for example: when the judges said she can’t do a redo of her performance she had a pose that looked like Sabrina’s when Meline said “Rainbow Diva’s don’t make due” in season 3. I hate the Ai so much and they actually should’ve tried on it.

The dolls of the main 3 themselves look so... plain. I can't even really tell what their style or aesthetic is supposed to be, it looks like they all have no personalities. The dolls were mainly in Target,but I think the time for them being on shelf has passed. I saw them clearance in most of my local stores in Cali with maybe one store restocking. I have not searched for the dolls here in the South. Never saw the additional dolls in stores. Walmart only eems to have Bao on shelves and online. May be licensing/brand deal going on with that. The dolls themselves are good. Legs are articulated and stiff. One of my legs broke when trying to sit the doll 😢. AND I LOVE THEIR HAIR! I have doubles to rebody them soon.

I am happy that the entire thing isn't AI generated. I am happy that they did use a real artist for the majority of the scenes even though they're definitely could be work with the storyline like you mentioned. We need to know who these characters are so we're not lost and we actually feel something towards them I will check them out as I do believe in the work that the Creator is doing when it comes to bringing in dolls of diversity. Hopefully they are able to put more money into the budget in the future. I know firsthand that animation is not cheap so I am pretty sure they used AI to help what the budget. I will have to see how good or bad these episodes are LOL. As if I haven't watched bad writing in other animated projects from doll brands
