I wish there were marks on the pitch knob so you can have reference increments to shift the pitch.

Given pot tolerances, it would be hard. But they make sharpies.

Check out the Expression Slider by Old Blood Noise. May not align with the exact pitch but it’s got plenty of line markers on it
