At least the show keeps Skyler's skin tone darker, I've seen the doll and the artwork and she looks lighter in them. I don't think it's the lighting or something because Sunny's art has her skin darker and her doll is also darker than Skyler's.

MGA flaunted that rainbow high was the #1 most sold doll line-and omg often sold for the same amount as rainbow high did Its what made people confused on why would they even reboot RH

Yeah, that's one of my problems with this reboot too. Like, Rainbow High was doing really well for itself, why reboot it? It feels like they shot themselves in the foot.

I love you're Poppy, she's so upbeat and has this energy that going with the flow of the music. Her pet is my favorite I love a scarry sweetie. I liked Ruby a lot, she's a character with some layers I would say, she can be sweet, she sometimes is the first to get angry, sometimes she can be really sad, she's a intense emotional girl and you're look show that.

I LOVED your Poppy redesign. The butterfly top especially reminded me of Im Nayeon's outfit in her "POP" MV. If you want some more style inspo, I would suggest looking at kpop fashion (mainly those in performances or music videos). They tend to experiment a lot with the newest trends. Or going youtubers like Mina Le or ModernGurlz's Fashion Predictions/Style Evolution videos.

U know I love the design u made for poppy if I could redesign her I would make her cottage core fee and it makes sense because she’s literally feel bad for butterflies and because her outfit in the redesign reminds me of cottage graphics maybe she could be like a fairytale character just wanted to share my opinion I love the design u made and rubys was cute

Rainbow High must be in Northern California because the only places that get snow in Southern California is the mountains. NorCal is cooler than SoCal, so Poppy's jackets would make sense...but with that being said, I never liked her bomber jackets xD Your redesigns do look like something an LA girlie would wear, especially Ruby. Those pants slay 👏

When redesigning a character, it would be a good idea to take into account how their clothes would translate into real life doll form. Amaya in particular is very heavily detailed. Ofc this criticism only applies if relating to the dolls is part of your intention! I also want to add that just ruffles and bows don't make lolita- it's a very specific kind of fashion with extremely strict rules to its styling, so using lolita style as a descriptor is not generally recommended. ^^; But that doesn't have to do with the designs so whatevs haha I totally love them though, especially your use of neons on Amaya and Ruby's huge baggy pants. I love pants like that and I wish they were used more commonly on girl dolls! And the butterfly wings on Poppy's shoes being real big and noticeable, they always seemed like they were too small on her actual doll's shoes and I'm a sucker for huge shoe wings! Don't even get me started on Ruby's fire hair, that is... well, fire. :P

I def agree Amaya leans a bit more towards detail, but that’s my bad cuz I mostly used LOL OMG as inspiration which are also often on the more detailed side 😭

I intensely dislike the Rainbow High Rebrand and Rainbow High Season 5. It just feels so wrong to me and not at all like the Rainbow High that I first fell in love with (Shadow High is also my comfort doll line)! Your Ruby redesign is beautiful, especially the second outfit with the skirt. And Poppy looks beautiful, per usual (I personally never had any issue with her original design.).🔥🖤💜
