Hello Cory! I was wondering; I have a 10 gallon fresh water aquarium and I have a betta, a frog and a Otocinclus and soon some neon tetras. So I was wondering how many should I get? My local petsmart says get 3 and then on their website it says get 5 or more of them and I'm not sure how many I should get for a new school of fish. Thanks!

@20:30... Lake Uter, the village of Aytinjo @20:45... those are a cross between G. multisquamata and G. wanamensis... quite common. They're missing the long anal fins. Also, @24:45... Not M. parva. Those are hybrids... relatively nice hybrids, but hybrids. They're likely a cross between a trifasciata type and C. bleheri. Moving past those three items, the tanks and fish look awesome. As always, this was a great video guys. I especially liked the underwater shots!

Cory, actually A lot more CO2 can be dissolved in water than oxygen. I can’t remember the exact percentages off hand but it’s a considerable difference. That’s why there is a considerable amount of carbonic acid in our oceans. Which is a threat to our coral reefs. This is one of the byproducts of climate change. Aquariums make great models for understanding the ways of the planet. That’s why we love aquariums it gives us a chance to discover little worlds.

Sure, killifish can be kept with others, most people don't do the research. Golden Wonder killifish do well typically with anything that doesn't fit in their mouth.

I was just thinking a lot of the killi fish rely on the diapause period without water. You could open a new world to your viewer with a topic like this. Maybe a series or live stream??? Thanks again.

Could the amazing color of the rainbow fish in his big tank be due to all the tannin's from the amount of drift wood in the tank or do you think its just the quality food and lighting? It made me think of that when you were commenting on how natural the tank wasand in nature there would be alot more leaf litter and wood. Just a thought

I'm newer in to the fish hobby, and wondering what filter you guys use in the tanks?, I see you use a sponge filter with air line, but do you use any other filter system?. I got a 30 gallon plated with a normal hang on back filter system, And a 10gallon that I'm breeding platys in, and only using a sponge filter, do I need to add anything else?, or is that enough with keeping up with water changes and cleaning?, Thanks!,

I'd say you have enough, and water changes will do the rest. In my opinion it's what filter you enjoy cleaning that matters the most.

Is it possible to do this in a 75 gallon; Eco complete, large driftwood, some crypts, Anubis, jungle Val, cherry shrimp. Then have 3 angelfish, 20 neon tetras, 20 black neon tetras, then a few rams possibly and 6-8 rainbowfish. I really think this would look cool, but I'm wondering if it would all work, low light no ferds, overfeeding and tons of hiding places to ensure shrimp live, how would this work and if it wouldn't what would you change... also are the rams going to work?if so how many, THANK YOU:)

Cory could you do a episode on the best plants for breeding live bearers, I am trying to figure out what to put in my 55 g community tank which I'm using to bread mollies, platys and maybe later guppies or endlers. Since two of my mollies gave birth but it was a newly established tank and didn't have real plants so all were eaten. I saw two or three when feeding in the morning before school one was under a rock another was eaten at the top of the tank before my eyes after school none made it after school. Do you ship guppies and do you have a website. Thank you for your time and love the vids I subscribed your channel is very informative and keep posting regularly.
