I started somewhere else in my EO journey and ended up with Eden’s Garden. Love them! Never tried NOW. Will give them a look. But what is encouraging to me is that you CAN get your hair back. I have lost soooo much hair in the last ten years that I am so worried I’m going to lose it all. It’s depressing to see the hair that falls. I’m going to try this. Goodness knows I’ve tried everything else.... Thank you.
@RainCountryHomestead4 жыл бұрын
I totally understand, I was so depressed about my hair and afraid of losing all of it. It still has not got back to being as long as it once was nor quite as thick as it was before menopause but it is certainly more normal now and has been able to get a little longer again.

I love this channel and what is offered! I'm going to try the hair oil. But.....just wanted to mention that my hair has never been so lux/long since I started using shampoo created for/and by black people! My favourite is Carols Daughter but ORS is good to start with because they can be a bit heavy. It has not been usually found in the 'shampoo" aisle, it is found elsewhere in the store. ...Be careful how you ask for it for tho! People get very twisted about the words used. I've had some really 'funny' I interactions!

Losing hair due to chemo... for the second time. Fortunately, THAT is almost done... but my hair has been considerably finer and sparser that it was before all this since the first round of chemo. Now that round 2 is almost done (only 2 more sessions) I want to start cutting toxins out of my life... and maybe get some of my hair back. Thank you for this. So true! This goes for body wash and what we wash our clothes with as well, most of the “soaps” we use, is classified by the FDA as “industrial detergent”!! I’ve been working on this myself and my mother has too. My hair is very fine (not thin) naturally and to my waist so it definitely needs healthy natural methods. Glad you came up with such a good thing!

If you are not doing it already, start taking D3 supplements, whenever my hair starts to fall out in greater amounts than what is normal, I start taking it and it stops that. Plus, D3 is necessary in helping to prevent getting ill from viruses, including the one we are dealing with now. Also high doses of vitamin C. We have been eating a lot of citrus and making immune boosting teas but still have started taking the C on top of that. We normally do not take much supplements but are now

I will make this recipe for my mom. We used NOW oils and I found them to be much weaker than Young Living, but I definitely love to use them to make my cleaning products and we use the YL on our skin or internally. Thank you for your turpentine video as well. I just took a smaller dose and it was a lot more tolerable. I only took it 3 times last year due to the amount. 1 tsp was too much for me and it traumatized me, but I know the benefits are very good. I also used Young Living pine oil and it tasted much better, but the cost is much higher than buying turpentine. Hopefully I can do this for one week so I can detox my body. God bless!😊👍🏽

I bouhgt a whole big kit of young living oils and did a side by side comparison and found no difference in strength. Some oils I did not even like as much as the NOW. The scent seemed a bit off to me. I also did not care for the fact that a good many of them were blends. I thought I was getting a kit of singles. I prefer to make my own blends. Anyway, as I always say, we have find which ones work best for us so if people prefer the YL, then that is cool :)

I forgot to put gloves on to handle some green chili peppers and started feeling odd, then realized I needed my Epi-pen. I was having anaphylactic symptoms. I know I'm allergic to wasp stings. Thanks for all you do! Your hair looks great! Beautiful pictures! I use argan or sunflower seed oil for my hair, some items it still does not occur to me to order online. Thanks for the reminder. I will try this. My hair is just now back after cutting it all off 5 years ago, a beeswax accident. I tossed a 5 gallon block of wax into a 65 gallon tank, it hit the edge and splashed wax all over me, mostly my head. My hair was already all burned off in places from using a blowtorch all day and coarse / curly to boot. Note: It's really odd how people will look at you when you are covered in beeswax on the bus =D Now I lighten my hair to get it to take vegetable dye better, so it can get crispy, but never as bad as working at the waxworks in the past. I love having pastel hair right now, would have done just about anything to have this hair when I was younger. So I am just doing it now! Who cares if I am almost 40! Have a great day everyone!

So far, I think you're AWESOME!!!

The cayenne gives it just an added boost but you do not have to do that if you do not want to. Yes, anything you purchase through any amazon link you go through, even if not the linked item, I earn a percentage but you do not pay anymore. Thanks so much for that and for you very kind words!! :D

I am happy to hear that you get a percentage of my whole order. I just purchased $300. worth of stuff. This is quite a huge purchase for me, and not something I do on a regular basis. I generally have to save for save for 6-8 months to spend that amount. I'm glad I was able to help you in some small way :)

I would suggest just leaving out the cayenne. Another option would be to mix the essential oils into castor oil, it is also known for helping with hair growth and I did not think of that when making this video. It is very thick though in comparison to coconut or avocado oil. Really though, any of those good healthy oils are helpful, no need to brake the bank for expensive oils like Emu and others. Thank you again Kathleen!

Hi RC, thanks for sharing this valuable information, I am growing my hair longer after wearing it short for years. Let me share about Hyaluronic Acid ~ HA, by Hyalogic called Synovial Seven which is HA in saline water. I put it in my eyes, they company has been turned down by FDA to sell to be put in eyes although we that sold it use it in our eyes. The eye has a part that is filled with HA, when this flattens out people can get Retina Detachments, BENEFIT # 2 Eyelashes grow thicker it support the follicle, so some use it on eyebrows and hair lines. Again thanks for sharing!!!

I believe that most of the time, hair loss and other issues are a result of an underlying issue, most often this will be gut problems that in turn cause low thyroid and other health problems that then can cause the hair loss. It is important to find the root of the problem. We used to take thyroid medications for 15 years until I finally learned more about it and took ourselves off about 6 years ago. We are so much better now without the medications

Drinking the acv helped me better then pouring it on my head . I guess you think about it everything happens from your body from the inside out mostly not always . Really can’t wait to make your hair shampoo Thank you sweetie and black strap molasses works great with to your hair will be darker but I’m ok with that

My curls and hair looks to be similar to yours. I use a mild shampoo if I have gotten really grungy, I use conditioner only, recently I found one being sold to clean hair. The hair does not dry out as it does with shampoos. MCT coconut oil to add a moist look.

This video is old. I have a more updated recipe video on this as well as a more updated one on my general hair care. I have used coconut oil in my hair before and still do from time to time but it is rarely necessary as a leave in treatment kzbin.info/www/bejne/l5iogKCwbs1sZtE

Hi Heidi, I love your videos and the bible verse you give. God bless you fir this. I have a question, I am loving more hair when I oil them. I notice this while having head bath. Can’t I just rub this 3 essential oils directly on my scalp. Please reply
@RainCountryHomestead2 жыл бұрын
Your sentences before the question I am not understanding but some essential oils, yes, you can do that with but not all, some need a carrier oil so using on that is already infused with other herbs that help with hair growth is ideal. Please see my most recent recipe here as I also give more suggestions: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fWfdhXmqqblre6s

I have the same problem! I'm 44 but I've been loosing my hair done 3-4 years. when I braid it, it is now as thin as a pencil!!! thank you for sharing this. I've made one out of coconut and rosemary oil before. I've never would have thought to try the cayenne oil. how long does it take to infuse the cayenne oil? Thank you for sharing this!!

I let it infuse for a couple of months in warm area in the living room not far from the wood stove, on top of the fridge is a good place too.

Straight coconut oil can be very DRYING mix w another oil type. I adore coconut oil but i found out the HARD way of its drying effects on both my hands and hair. I'll blend w olive oil, gently melted shea butter or cocoa butter. I havent used the bees wax pellets so my oil mixes arent always a homogeneous blend in cooler weather but i still use it and enjoy 🤗

I prefer short hair on older ladies. Don't worry, you look grand. But I sometimes you look tired, is that because of the thoyroid problem. You have a lot of wisdom, but take it easy. How did you make the cayenne oil. Did you just infuse the cayenne pepper in oil? Maybe I missed that bit
@RainCountryHomestead4 жыл бұрын
My husband prefers longer hair so he is the one I am to please and 51 (which is how old I was three years ago when I shot this video) is not that old. I do not have thyroid problems as I have long since taken care of that on my own, however, I often do get exhausted trying to keep up on all the many things I do, I am an extremely busy person. PLUS, this is an older video with very poor lighting that makes my coloring look bad. Now, if you are wanting to know about the oil infusion you can check out this video, at least it is a little newer with better lighting: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iYTHg5uLZ8aen7s

Could you do a vid on covering grey please. I use chemical dyes which I know are not good. I know henna can be used but nervous to try it.
@RainCountryHomestead6 жыл бұрын
I do not color my hair so I cannot help you there. I am just letting my hair go grey naturally. Interestingly though, I have noticed the greying has slowed quite a bit in the past few years. Not sure if it is the colloidal copper I occasionally use in my hair, the oils I use here, or because I have changed up much of what I eat
@cynthiacairns92095 жыл бұрын
To regenerate color in your hair, you may want to try castor oil/Blackstrap Molasses (organic-unsulfured) masks on your hair. There are lots of videos on KZbin on it.

Henna is fine, but it will make your gray hair bright orange. Remember, it's not a dye, it's more like putting stain on wood. With henna, you don't strip out your original color like with a hair dye. It's a reddish brown stain.

It depends on the oil you use. I recommend you see my newest recipe here as I now add more than just the pepper to the oil but because some of the herbs are more delicate, you really need to a lower heat when warming: kzbin.info/www/bejne/fWfdhXmqqblre6s
