Beautiful 💕 My Grandfather was a fossicker, facetor and a self-taught jeweller. In his 97 years on this earth he found and then created one of a kind pieces for his family. I proudly wear a peridot and zircon ring he made for my Nan. I know exactly where and when he found the stones as they often told the story of this particular fossicking trip, including the friends they made and the food they cooked (my grandparents were amazing cooks). Each of my children have a stone found and faceted by their Great-grandfather especially for them in celebration of their births. The memories are the thing that makes these stones precious and priceless ❤️ As is the stunning ring that has been created for Louise.

Ahh ha Levi, now my friend you are moving into my territory of Jewellery Making!! I feel quite pleased about that. Perhaps you could do a course in it and hopefully make some rings, pendants whatever you like from your gold. I see your wife prefers white gold. I, on the other hand just love the yellow of gold, because gold IS yellow colour. I love 18K, the yellow the better. Some things can be 22K and the gold colour is very rich, but sometimes it can be a little too soft for rings which need to be a bit more robust for wear and tear. It's so lovely that your whole family can enjoy this hobby. Get the boys into making. You might have budding little jewellers there. Are you planning to go for any more gold and gemstones. I can reliably tell you, this jewellery stuff gets into your veins - it did for me! THANKS A MILLION FOR THE VIDEO - IT WAS GREAT!! Thoroughly enjoyed it.

How absolutely gorgeous. I have loved the emerald cut topaz for many years. When I was a teenager a friend of our family got engaged and she was a very classic lady and her engagement ring was an aquamarine set very similarly to your ring and I was gob smacked by it. She wore it with a very simple wedding ring and it always looked outstanding. She passed away some time ago now when she was a middle aged lady and only had one daughter and I often think about whether her daughter wears the ring and how timeless it was. I hope love to watch your videos and I am so glad that you and your wife have this special memento of all your beautiful memories.
