[A] Suitable for listeners of any gender. Contains roleplay elements where I speak to you directly and ask a few simple questions, but no major response is needed from you and no specific relationship is implied. Contains mouse clicking and keyboard typing sounds if that is an ASMR trigger for you.
Here's another nice long ambient hangout audio, though it doesn't make reference to the first one. In this audio, I greet you warmly like you've stepped into the room and ask if you'd like to come hang out next to me while I'm working. It isn't specified what you're doing, you're welcome to do whatever quiet activity you want. There's no particular relationship that is implied, so it could be a partner/friend/brother/family member, etc. If you'd prefer a version where I play your father, there's a version with an alternate introduction called "[A] Come Hang Out With Your Dad 2" and one where I play your older brother in [A] Come Hang Out Next To Your Big Brother" but the rest of the audio is otherwise the same.
A lot of the audio is quiet ambience, mostly me typing on the keyboard, clicking the mouse, breathing and sometimes making little "Hmm" sounds or quiet murmurs. Occasionally I'll comment on the report I'm writing. I check in with you a couple of times, to make sure you're doing okay, smiling and going back to work. I also refer to you as 'my little sidekick' a few times and repeatedly state that it's nice to have you here or I'm glad you're here. At the end, once I've done enough work, I state that you've been really good and helpful and quiet, and so I say we can go do something fun, whatever you'd like to do. With a contented chuckle, we both go off to do that and the audio fades out.

It isn't a competition, you can do it too. Don't put yourself down. There is value in doing something, even if you are not 'the best'. We have many writers, many actors, many singers, many chefs, many builders. If we never tried to do anything because someone was better, our society would be terribly dull. I started out poorly and gained experience over time, I made mistakes and learned. I improved. Comparing yourself, someone who has never done this, to somebody who has done this for years is hardly fair. Give it a try. There are plenty of people out there with different preferences, who would enjoy your voice and wouldn't enjoy mine. You've lived a different life, have a different perspective and values and interests, so you'd make different audios that would appeal to different people.

@@savannahl3458 Those websites are all free to sign up with and only take a few minutes, though aren't really that important. I'd advise taking a look at your metric for success. It sounds like you're very focused on comparing yourself to others, on reaching some sort of competitive status. I'd suggest trying to make things that are meaningful to you, things you feel are important, things that can help others.
